Are yours made using cord or ribbon? If it's cord you could try a blob of superglue to hold the knot in place? I would be happy to make you a replacement if you would like one, just pm me. Mine are ribbon, I fold the end over twice and stitch them into place to secure them. I will be selling them for £2 each. :)

They are made out of ribbon and I may have gotten that impatient I threw away the beads :o:rotfl: I will pm you now x
Spreading a little Christmas joy all year round :santa2:
  • qwiksave lovely tree!

chessie wow thats rude of them! Im very much for live and let live so I do see red when people decide it's ok to trash other peoples' decisions and choices, what a nerve! espacially when you are doing something lovely and happy, who are they to bring you down?? grrr! *scowls Facebookwards* high 5 to you for decorating early, all the longer to enjoy it! I have my twinkly lights on all day on my tree and I smile every time I look at it

Nanamia thank you honey, you are so kind and thoughtful! am fine thanks, just a few little worries moneywise and you know how that niggles at the back of your mind! thank you so much for asking xx

has anyone else noticed that M&S seem very much behind on Christmas food stock this year or is it just my store? no turkey joints yet and only a small part of the aisle of party food has anything in it, seem to be missing a lot? Im after the sticky Chilli and Tomato Artisan chutney but nothing doing here

have got mini chicken kievs, Yakatori chicken skewers, sausage rolls, Hot chicken chunks, duck spring rolls and mini hamburgers for the freezer so made som good headway, along with pate, cheese and my store cupboard hardly closing for goodies, so feel at least Im making headway!

im not wanting to bring this thread down, but i feel i know you all (is that sad?) and i wanted to let you all know the reason for my absence and also to avoid any questions.

as many of you know i was due to have baby number 4 in march. unfortunatley our daughter was born on sunday and being 19weeks early she didnt make it.

my hubby mark and i are pretty cut up as you can imagine and trying our hardest to keep spirits high for the other 3.

i have no chance of catching up the thread now as ive been away too long so i imagine i will fleetingly pass through so im sorry if i ever miss anything important thats said.

once again, im sorry to bring the thread down.

dont be sorry carlamarie how heartbreaking for you and your family, there is nothing that can take the pain away but im sure you have plenty of people around you (and us on here) to help you through it xx

    Hi everyone!
Just back from a trip to Lidl. I was sure they wouldn't have any cellophane left by now, but there was 3 rolls left amongst the other wrapping paper. One red, one silver & one gold, so I've bought those and a roll of cute penguin paper which I just had to have!
I was going to treat myself to some of the Rekordorlig(?) winter cider to drink, but they're on offer for 3 for £5 and there was only 2 bottles left, so I decided I'd make do with the German mulled wine instead.

I did some wrapping yesterday and realised how bizzare some of my gifts are this year. For some people I'm giving the xmas pudding bin bags as a silly extra gift. I'm also giving my DH some festive flavour crisps and popcorn (as part of a Christmas movie hamper). What's the oddest present you're giving-or have been given?

Oh, and my snowflake necklace that I bought myself in the Amazon deals has arrived. It's really cute. Need earrings to match now...lol!

It must've been earlier than Friday, but it was the black Friday deals week. It's very cute.

Lol! Given or received? Hubby has told me that it should be a new year gift. Something to do with Bringing luck & warmth into the home.

Edited to add: found this necklace of 'coal' which I think is just brilliant. Shall I be naughty so I can get one? http://www.etsy.com/listing/83146236/naughty-christmas-coal-black-tourmaline?ref=sc_4&sref=
