Don't think I can do it this year, not with my poorly finger :rotfl:
Hope they get that sorted for you soon OMO. Must be quite restricting for you at times. I could do the wrapping for you? It's one of my fave Christmas jobs, takes me chuffing ages though as I'm a co-ordination freak. lol0 -
Well last night when I got home from uni I painted some little wooden Christmas trees and stockings ready for a Christmas market in two weeks and tonight I've made some reindeer food! Need to make some tags for them and pop some ribbon on and they'll be all ready.
I ideally wanted to write something on the wooden shapes but my writing isn't the best - especially under pressure!! So not sure how to do it. Any ideas? XTink0 -

Can i just ask, are you using regular sharpies or are they special ceramic ones? And do you need to blast them in the oven to seal the ink please?
OMO you made me laugh - i like the idea of putting all presents into gift bags to avoid wrapping! lol x
Hiya Jakesbakescakes.
I just used normal fine nib Sharpies. I did give them a quick blast for 20 mins, just to be on the safe side. I've given them a wash too and they're in fine order. Wouldn't put them in a dishwasher though, too hot I think for the ink to stay put.0 -

My elf now has a facebook page set up ready incase anyone wants to follow his antics (feel free to share your elf's page on there too)
I've joined. Still waiting for my Elf to make an appearance!0 -
Just wanted to send healing wishes to anyone going through a tough time at the moment. Hearing what others are going through makes me realise how fortunate I am and really puts my minor gripes and grumbles into perspective x0

maybe you could print out some words from the computer, masking tape the paper over the shapes, pin pr!ck or do a faint outline of the words and get the outline that way?
Don't forget the poem for the reindeer food:
On Christmas Eve Santa's reindeers travel miles before the dawn
So be sure to take this magic food and sprinkle on the lawn,
The smell of oats and the glitter path will guide them on their way,
And you'll wake up to Santa's gifts next morn, on Christmas Day!Trying to save up for a deposit for a mortgage....could be a while!!
Comping since 15/06/2014 - thanks to all those who post the competitions ❤️😀0 -
Hi all, thanks for all the great tips
Love this thread! I confess I was one of the ones who bought the Gosh nail polishes on your recommendation earlier and now they are out of stock so as I feel a bit guilty I'll pass on something else I bought that'd great for pamper hampers...
http://www.montagnejeunesse.com/gifts are doing packs of 5 face packs in different varieties like fruit or chocolate. Normally £5 but with code XMAS25 they are £3.75 delivered so not bad for 75p each I thought
We have watched home alone tonight and am waiting for my spare room to be clear (loads of eBay auctions ending this week!) before I start wrapping and crafting!
Thanks again for all the good ideas0 -
Thank you for the Christmas pudding bin liner and crisps idea... I will be sure to get both of those : )0
