well, told dd's their ss's arent coming & they were understandably gutted! so i have decided to cheer them up...dh said i couldnt put "the christmas tree" up until dec 1st...soooo....i have just transformed our hall into a mini winter wonderland, blue lights around doors and mirror, blue & silver tinsel around picture frames, and a few snowman & snowflake sillouttes dotted around...but no christmas tree!! i know its early, i know dh will do his nut when he gets home at the weekend, but ive been wanting to decorate since nov 1st so i think its a brilliant compramise! i cant wait to see kids faces in the morning...now just wondering if its too early for the elves to make an appearance lol! It's not about getting what you want, It's about wanting what you get.0

Another craft ruined  Just attempted lip balm and my beeswax and body butter separated! I'm not impressed as spent a fair amount on ingredients and the little pots too
I cheat. If it isn't from a shop it is home-made.
Melt some petroleum jelly in the micro, and add some coco powder.
Put in small pots, and let it set.
You now have home-made chocolate lip balm.0 -

Hi everyone. Feeling a lit bettr after my third trp to hospital yesterdya. Sac has passed and everything looks on its way ack to normal. But the best bit . . . . the nurse/midwife ws so lovely kept sayng you know it isnt anything you hve one it isnt your fault this has happened. Of course I do know this but she is the first to say this to me nd actually treat me like a human being rather than a non entity!
So today I sat and did 4 hampers and also made tags and packed the ikea santa brown bags from Ikea for my ds nursery teachers. All while watcing Christmas 24 with a mulled wine tea. HAve tosay I watched Christmas cottage and Christma in Boston and ended up crying buckets at both such a whoose:o0 -
