Here are some snowmen tree decorations that DS made this morning (the joys of being home educated). No idea how to upload them the right way around.

Give us the strength to encounter that which is to come, that we may be brave in peril, constant in tribulation, temparate in wrath, and in all changes of fortune, and down to the gates of death, loyal and loving to one another.”

    hello all.

    Progress since my last update.

Just spent £65 (EEK!!!!!) in the Range on lights for our new tree and window, tinsel, icicle decs and 2 advent calendars (one's a truck and one's a Santa both wooden with doors) Going to buy some more baubles one day from one of the cheap/pound shops. Decided on a blue and silver theme (maybe with white thrown in too)

Also ordered Hubby's main xmas pressie this morning from Amazon. Stamped some cards over the weekend to colour in one night this week then that will be all my cards sorted.

Darn it, didn't look at glass bottles in the Range, that's what I went for in the first place, hee hee!
  • Hello Feisty Fidget this is amazing. I love this.
rsaini11 Those are beautiful! I plan to do this center piece for Christmas :)

Wow some great makes on here last few days.....nods to omo, kerrylm, kelly7, rsaini11.

spent ages looking for tags to match my paper that I bought in the sale last year without tags, never thought of making my own. Ended up with some that sort of go with it as I was so sick of looking.

Finished sewing the name on one stocking, possibly sewing a sprig of holly onto them at the suggestion of my niece who can't believe I am only doing names and nothing else! Depends how much more I can stand sewing after I have finished my name....though I have started to get a strange longing for a sewing machine! :o especially after looking up a tutorial online about how to do a particular stitch which ended up with me signing up to a sewing site who keep sending me ideas :)

  • Hi all, I am about 8 pages behind so I still need to catch up, so I apologise if i've missed anything big and don't comment on it yet!

I'm posting now as I need to help from you lovely elves and elfettes, i've just drawn my first Secret Santa name of the year (I am in 3 Secret Santas this year!) and I have a lady that I don't know too well. She is in her 40's and quite girly, so I was thinking about making a very mini pamper hamper. The problem I have is that the limit is £5, so I obviously cant' get much! Do you have any ideas or know of any bargains I can pick up?? :xmassmile

Do you have any samples at home ?
If you do make her a Pamper Jar.

Take a largish jar and fill it with pamper bits.

A pair of Fluffy socks £1

Make a rice bag in the shape of glasses. It is easier than it sounds.
Sew two bits of material together, turn the right way, fill with rice and stitch up hole. This can be put in the fridge for cold or in micro for warm. (Free)

    Bar of chocolate £1

    Candle £1

    Face mask £1

    Room spray £1

If you haven't got a jar just wrap it in cellophane.
