I wonder how you would stop the cupcakes falling out of the cupcake papers though at that angle?
They are all skewered onto cocktail sticks (with a little extra re-enforcement from royal icing) and then the sticks are stuck into the oasis cone
No crafting today as stuck at workI kept daydreaming about all the bits I still need to do, getting a bit over-whelmed now!

I really want a 'we believe' sign but am debating whether to make one... using an offcut of wood and old paint I've got kicking about the house...http://jennasuedesign.blogspot.co.uk/2012/02/weathered-wooden-sign-diy.html
isnt it amazing how we all think "i could do that for so much less" i seen a lovely plackard thing on sat and thought i could do that myself with a bit of cardboard and some paint. then standing in a queue i heard a lady saying "you could make that yourself with a bit of cardboard and some wool" it was a hanging ornament thing i promptly turned to my mum and said see its not just me that does it! :rotfl:0 -
Does anybody know where I could get some Christmassy king size bedding?Tink0

Going to put a DVD on (probably not a christmassy one, treated myself to The Decoy Bride on DVD today so will prob put that on and drool over David Tennant.
Only £3 in Asda, cheapest online is £6 in case any DT fans are interested!) have a lovely bagel with Philadephia and a can of coke and wrap away lol! Sorry forgot to say earlier as I was too busy moaning!!
but I got some lovely bits from Matalan yesterday:
Refreshers mug £5 on 3 for 2for stepdad
Reindeer patterned dinner set £10 (also had xmas tree pattern)
Large glass jar of sweets (had diff ones, pink/white mice, humbugs, bonbons) reduced to £4 and on 3 for 2 so works out £2.66 each! Such a bargain, the jars are large and I doubt you could do it yourself cheaper. I got my nan a much tinier plastic jar of sweets from Asda and that alone was £2!!
Takeaway menu folder £4 and on 3 for 2 (fab if you know anyone who lives on takeaways, got one for my brother as his sort of jokey gift!)
Also just about to order my sister some Far Away stuff from Avon for xmas and this sets look perfect if you want to do gift baskets but are short on time or a bit nervous of doing them from scratch. Look good value too! http://avonshop.co.uk/shop/search.asp?find_spec=wrap your
the avon sets are rather full too you do get quite a lot for your money and you can always add little things in to them if you wanted0 -

Does anyone have any experience with polly pockets? dd is 5, she loves lego & moshi monsters so when she asked for polly pockets (similar teeny weeny type toys) i leaped at the chance to get her something girly, as she doesnt really do dolls etc. Are they for much younger children? would hate to think ive wasted money on something she will only play with once or twice? im seriously considering ebaying the 2 sets & getting her more lego :-(
i loved polly pockets for years, but it always depends on the child, i wouldnt say they were for anything younger than 4or5 really as they are only small0 -
