Gingernutbizkit I think you are such an example to us all. The love and kindness in this thread never ceases to amaze me. Christmas crazy people must be the best around:)
Tab1967 be prepared for your heart to melt, and to feel love like you've never experienced before- truly. Can't wait to hear news of your grandchildxxx
For those of us who can remember the birth of this thread. Gleeks first words and there being some doubt if the board needed another Christmas thread I am so glad it was saved and 278 pages later very very thankful for it. What will happen when Christmas arrives I'm hoping we won't all disappear I'd really miss you all. X
we will just stared another one for 2013 hehe:xmastree:family mean more to me than money it's call a life0 -
Thanks for all your comments re polly pockets, i have wrapped them tonight, and i am now convinced she will love them & get lots of playtime from them, all the little tiny bits seem right up her street! Ive almost fineshed my wrapping now, just all 4 kids boxing day gifts to wrap (stepdd's come boxing day so we always hold a couple back for dd's too) and once youngests school photos arrive i can finish & wrap grandparents hampers! I think i am very nearly ready to put my feet up & enjoy the festivities. I am now concentrating my efforts on the small things, pots of gold, table decs, making wreath etc! oh, and i started back at work today, glad to be back, but going into an established set-up as a supervisor is already proving challenging, especially since two of the girls i now manage also went for my possition, oh well, i always have enjoyed a challenge!

It's my first time on this thread, but wish to say how lovely the items are that you have both made, kelly 7 and kerrylm.
It has spurred me on to have a go at making things. Did you use a special chocolate mould?
Hi Peony40. It just needs to be silicone so you can peel it off. Also can be used for baking cakes too!0 -

I am guessing you want a free pattern?
If you are happy to pay £3.87, you can buy the actual pattern from Etsy

The seller re-listed the item (it probably sold) and so the pinterest link didn't work any longer HTH[/COLOR]2024 Challenges

been told today that baby is no longer engaged! :-O so doesn't look like he will be showing up anytime soon :S
dont worry too much some babies dont engage until your in labour. with my youngest the midwife told me as he wasnt engaged and I'd be looking at another couple of weeks she was so sure she even booked my in provisionally for induction 10 days after my due date 2 days later and 3 days early he put in a very rapid appearance . take it easy & try to enjoy these last few days with as much me time as possible hopefully he wont keep you waiting too much longer.
on the xmas front picked up a plaster of paris xmas mould kit from £land and did a trial run with some choc managed to get 4 out of 1 lidl bar as they are quite chunky but look great.you could even add some white/coloured choc first to add contrast on the scarf /noses ect if you had a little time.this year do something that scares you for courage is not the absence of fear just the knowledge that some things are worth the risk0 -

I'm after some too. Saw some in Primark today. White brushed cotton with reindeer on. £20 for kingsize. I took a quick pic...
And eBay has a lovely snowflake one. 3 colours, £19 plus p+p.
Sorry, I should introduce myself. I'm a fellow Christmas lover & have been reading this thread for a few weeks. I'm almost done with my shopping now-I think! Am doing pots of gold (or Christmas) for a dozen people, I've cross stitched some snowflake tree hangers for some family members & friends (hi Chicky & Louise from the cs cafe!) and I love making up hampers. Will let you all know if I find any good Christmassy bargains. :rudolf: :xmastree:
Oh, forgot I saw these men's hats in Primark for £3. Was very tempted...lol!Cross Stitch Cafe Monthly Challenge Member #27
