Does anyone have any experience with polly pockets? dd is 5, she loves lego & moshi monsters so when she asked for polly pockets (similar teeny weeny type toys) i leaped at the chance to get her something girly, as she doesnt really do dolls etc. Are they for much younger children? would hate to think ive wasted money on something she will only play with once or twice? im seriously considering ebaying the 2 sets & getting her more lego :-(
i had polly pockets when i was little and i'm sure i remember playing with them in the primary school playground when i was 8 or 9.loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:0 -

My DD is 5 and loves her Polly Pockets. It's the perfect age group for them - there are lots of little bits and pieces which are wasted on children any younger than that imo.
Her DD possibly never played with them because she was too young for them.Cross Stitch Cafe member No. 32012 170-194 2013 195-207.Hello Kitty ballerina 208.AVA 209.OLIVIA 210.ELLA 211.CARLA 212.LOUISE 213.CHARLEY 214.Mother & Child 215.Stop Faffing Completed 2014 216.Stitchers Sampler. 217.Let Them Be Small 218.Keep Calm 219. It's my first time on this thread, but wish to say how lovely the items are that you have both made, kelly 7 and kerrylm.
It has spurred me on to have a go at making things. Did you use a special chocolate mould?

Ooh also while I think on for anyone doing Candy Sleighs they have the giant candy canes for £1each in tescos.....also for people doing the smaller versions I've found that the Kinder bars fit perfectly on top of the kitkats to stack...plus it's the yummiest chocolate ever
I've just got some of these http://www.superdrug.com/ferrero/ferro-kinder-chocolate-small-bars/invt/544557/ instore today but if your local superdrug doesn't have any instore you could just order them online and take advantage of the free delivery offer
To anyone in the East Yorkshire area you MUST go to Christmas world at Spring Garden centre (Sigglesthorne) we went at the weekend and their display is completely finished.....CHRISTMAS HEAVEN!!!! Really should be in bed, but I always seem to find my best finds late at night.
Have just found 2 beautiful religious Christmas poems to put with M&Ms and candy canes.
Also found a lovely printable advent where you stick cotton wool on Santa's chin. When his beard is full he will visit you.

Well I'm in Bridlington and as it has NOTHING to offer me Christmas-wise I have no choice but to venture further afield to get my Christmassy fix - luckily my parents told me about this place 2 Christmases ago and it's now turned into our regular Christmas day out (often every other weekend as of October
)
Ooooooohhhhh just been speaking to my mum today and she's informed me that tomorrow....(hold on to your hat's ladies!!!)......she is putting her tree up!!!:D:D I remember growing up I hated them going up so early but now I have a child of my own I LOVE it!!! Mum always used to tell us she did it for the kids and we admittedly used to say "No, she does it simply for herself" but now I can see that she really did do it for us.....if I could have my decs up all year round I would...my 2 year old LOVES the "pretty Christmas" as she always tells me whenever we pass a local hairdressers in town that has fairy lights up all year round
