managed to get to a lidl only took 20mins to get there got 4 rolls of cellophane, the clear is 10m and the others a 5 so have 30m's in total should last a while. also got ds some window stickers to put up in his room only 99p. also got some snow spray £1.49. and my sleigh has dissapeared! have checks ds' room can only think he has put it somewhere or i am being blind!
Thank you, you've answered a question I posted previously, really need to get some of this at the weekend for some hampers, pots of silver and a few other bits I'm doing, so hopefully they'll have some in our local store!
Love the Santa/Christmas pudding sacks, do you think they'd be big enough to put Christmas presents into? I find with the material or large (cough, cough) kids Christmas sacks they are never very big and with the amount of packaging that comes with kids toys, you're lucky if one or two presents fit, so these could be a fun alternative!
Still struggling to find motivation to wrap, so I'm holding off until the tree is up and it looks a little bit more Christmassy. Received some news yesterday that has left me a little confused and can't quite get my head around it so trying to figure it out and then back to the Christmas plans!~ What's for you, won't go past you! ~0 -

His missus I love that pub:) too far to go for me tho!The secret of Christmas
It's not the things you do at Christmastime
But the Christmas things you do

thanks for the welcome Jemtom. What a great sleigh! I wish my kids were still little enough for that. Although I'd bet my boots that if I made one, my big kids would still try to sit in it, lol. Some fabulous ideas for presents on here, it's nice to avoid the same old, same old0

That pub is amazingly christmassy - It sucks I dont even have a "local" pub near where we live or at least not within walking distance - its the one thing I wanted to do this christmas was take a walk to a local pub but realistically would take about 4 mile walk each way!!Life is what you make it.0

Evening
I managed to get hold of 4 rolls of celophane from Lidl today (mom wanted some too).
I have brought some tins from Home Bargains-they aren't massive but they were 39p with snowflakes design on them (and some had other xmas designs) and the perfect size to put some chocolates in I thought
I just need to buy some tissue paper now in christmasy colours.

Nanamia I could never never forget you all. Without your encouragement Mumu would still be a figment of my imagination.
You all made it, not just me.:snow_grinLove the Santa/Christmas pudding sacks, do you think they'd be big enough to put Christmas presents into? Have measured one and it is 2ft wide by just under 3ft high.his_missus wrote: »
:eek: As I have said before, my parents were publicans, and I spent my childhood in a pub.
This is the reason I have minimal decorations that are mainly white, black or silver.
It may look festive to you, but to me it brings back nightmares.
All my friends were very jealous of our decs.
But to me, the decorations going up, meant that I knew I would see very little of my parents until the New Year, as the pub would be very busy.
Now they don't have the pub, they don't even have a tree. I think the decs were a bit much for all of us.:)0
