I got my tree and gingerbread men shaped moulds from 'Poundworld' :o

    keely.

Well Poundworld and the 99p shop are near one another in my city centre so I could have been mistaken. I know I was impressed by the amount of Christmas stuff that was in the 99p shop

For my secret santa I ended up with one of the lads, a mid-twenties car mad, mans man! I made up a mini hamper type thing: A car themed mug from £land, a "grow your own sports car" from amazon, a pack of black jacks, a pack of fruit salads, and a cone of snowman soup! Came in at £4.90!!! I used some shredded tissue to fill out, and wrapped in cellophane, looks quite good and could be adapted for any recipient (eg disney mug, "grow your own" crystal, disney wrapped sweets etc!).
It's not about getting what you want, It's about wanting what you get.

This thread is bad...........very very bad.....very bad indeed. :D.

I am trying to be not too christmassy yet or I'll spend a fortune , already eaten the nuts and liquer chocks.

I'm on my mobile at the moment but have a sneaking suspicion I may end up lurking on here if I get the chance when I'm at work tonight..!! I have avoided shopping so far , but keep getting massive urges to go and get yet more tree baubles....a bit of an obsession.:o
Yep...still at it, working out how to retire early.:D....... Going to have to rethink that scenario as have been screwed over by the company. A work in progress.

Hey, im just adding dry ingredients for chocolate brownies (they will need to add eggs & butter) but I want to include the chocolate & some marshmallows to pop on top of the brownies. My recipe is from a very old bero baking book, but weve made the brownies many times & are yummy! My oh is going to work out how much of each ingredients I can get into the jars I already have (luckily he is VERY good at maths!!). Will post once he has worked it out if you like, but he isnt home again till friday :rudolf:
I have 500ml jars, and hope to fit in a half quantity. 1 egg required mix, which should make 10-12 brownies
