Can't remember who was doing New York hamper but Lidl had 2013 New York calendars in this morning for £3.99. They're huge! Not sure if they're on today's specials or just in the shop in general.
Here's a link (they are on todays specials) & they're actually only £2.99

TIA xx
bought a lovely one in Tesco Direct a couple of weeks ago, mine is 2.5ft and was £14.97, but they have different sizes so worth a look, am very pleased with mine as wanted one for ages - its colour changing and so pretty, is battery one but not sure if the the bigger ones are plug in or not, well worth a look0 -
For everyone looking for Christmas moulds, Lidl also have moulds from next Monday. They look quite large but might be ok for some chocolates

nanamia am so glad you have got your Aussie tickets all sorted! you must be so excited! you can always come and talk to us if you are feeling down, it's perfectly understandable when people you love have moved far away, make sure you let us cheer you up! xx
keelykat I just noticed on your signature that your little one will be 1 on Christmas Eve, that will be so special and make Christmas Eve even more magical!
I love Christmas Eve best too, we are always all so busy in December that I love the shut the door on the world and hibernate! we always have a lovely breakfast, then at lunchtime open some champagne or mid afternoon (we arent big drinkers but I do love a couple of glasses of bubbly at Christmas) we open the choccy tins and have Christmas movies on all day, I do a yummy M&S buffet at tea time and put on Caroles from Kings - we always watch Fred Claus and Polar Express in the evening, and sometimes The Holiday, this year I bought Nativity and Elf as wellKids have early bath and into new pyjamas. We have Norad tracks Santa on the pc all day, I love it when it starts to get dark
I loved all the Christmas ads starting on TV on saturday night, my favourite is the Debenhams one where she leaves the house at the end and its a lovely cottage all lit up in the dark with fairy lights and snow in a country lane, its so Christmassy!0 -
ps popped into The Works yesterday when we went out for coffee with the kids, they had a lot of Christmas stuff and have great cookie cutters for 1.99 a box - I got Christmas tree ones but they have gingerbread men and snowmen as well - they also have a set of Nativity cookie cutters in a bigger box, either 2.99 or 3.99 (stuff is all on 3 for 2)0

Hi
I tend to use christmas cookie cutters I have with baking paper underneath, hold them down as you pour chocolate in and you can trim them afterwards if need be or I have even used a knife in water to smooth the sides. Xx
Thanks for that idea! Might need to try that as I have some cutters already.
Thanks to whoever said about poundworld and 99p shop but unfortunately don't live near either of them0 -
Afternoon all
Hope someone can help me, does anyone know where you can buy a small bath? I'm sure a photo of one was posted a long time ago, someone had taken a photo of it in the shop-and for the life of me I can't find it. It might have been B&M but my nearest one is 30 mins drive so I want to be sure! It was to put bath bombs etc in I think. A lady was selling one on Facebook, I turned up this morning to pick it up but she'd lost it
Any help would be much appreciated!

This year will hopefully be a very special christmas and christmas eveI am very excited! Sounds soppy, but our family is complete now and I can't wait for us all to sit together and open presents and do family things
I can't remember who asked about their baby and a xmas tree but this is one part I am kind of worried about! My baby is cruising around the furniture and very mobile too-but I am going to put the tree up and hope for the best (I know I am probably mad!). I didn't have a tree when my other son was at this age (just the 1 xmas). I decided to buy him some big xmas balloons and put them just out of reach. The following year he was good with the tree and we didn't have any major disasters!
My lovely niece will be 8 on the 20th december, so she is having a special party before the school breaks up so people don't forget with the rush coming up to xmas. If my sister hadn't been booked in for a c-section, I know my sister was not going to look forward to going over xmas being due.
I told her she was mad for having a baby so close to xmas, then look what I went and did! haha!
