  • congratulations lovely noodles :) hubby said she was the most beautiful newborn he had ever seen!
    Happy Birthday for tomorrow!

I was just nipping on quickly to tell you that those in the south east looking for something a bit special to do for Christmas could book to see santa at the birdworld winter wonderland. there is the option to just see santa and get a gift and then there is the option to go around birdworld, jenny wren farm and the aquarium on top of that, plus if you book and pay before 1st dec you get a 10% discount.
obviously its a bit pricey but not as pricey as lapland uk or the likes.
also such a fun day out!!!
Everything is always better after a cup of tea

This is fantastic, thank you for sharing. We don't do an elf but I will arrange a Polar Express afternoon for next month in a similar vein to oggly doggly.

Checked out B&Q's Christmas display last week and was very disappointed. The decorations didn't say 'buy me' and the trees looked sparse. Top marks to The Range and individual garden centres which seem to make theirs look more Christmassy. Will try Homebase in the next week or two.

I meet my friend for coffee each week and we talk about Christmas and where we've seen the best offers. Her husband is even more bah humbug than mine although if I don't move my (M&S) musical christmas tree tin off the dining table and stop winding it up then he's probably gonna strangle me:rotfl:

Thanks Pinksteps. You have just saved me from running down there. For a saving of about £1, I wont rush.:)

Lucky my mum was with my dad so they got six each.

Thank you both for the get well messages, think I'm just drained and my DS will soon be having his legs in plaster so it was getting a bit much. SO, after painting my bathroom hot pink (the joys of being a single mum with a camp son). We have decided to paint the kitchen the same colour ......... As well as the front door *whistles*

So I think I was allowed to be feeling poorly for precisely and hour and twenty mins :D

If anyone wants to include cups with their snowman soup (and don't mind if they're not festive) you can get 6 for £2.34 :)

  • Congrats Noodles!

Nipped into Lidl's this morning to pick up some chocolate, no restriction on amount, will do my mould test later, got guinea pigs in the office who will ba happy to try. They also had the BBC DVD of the Olympics for £20, which apparently is a saving of £10, but as I didn't know the original cost, can't cofirm
A smile costs little but creates much :)
