To everyone doing the Polar Express Santa Bell. You do realise that you will not be able to tell the littles ones to stop ringing it, as you can't actually hear it.
You may need to come up with a plan. I know for a fact that as a child, if my ds thought he could make loads of noise without being asked to stop he would ring it all day.
I didn't find that when I did it - also those bells aren't very noisy, not like the electronic toys and X Box games the kids play with. My boys are playing an xbox game right now, what a din! :rotfl:
Also, its a bit of an effort to ring the bell, little hands get tired, so don't worry.
[Slight confession, I wear hearing aids and turn them off :rotfl:]I don't want to make money, I just want to be wonderfulMarilyn Monroe0 -
Own my own - you should be really proud of yourself! all of them are amazing0

Yes you can colour white chocolate. You need to get paste or gel colours cos liquid food colouring doesn't work.0 -

Congratulations Noodles! What a beautiful name!
Been to lidl this morning, picked up 20 bars of chocolate, no restrictions, but the old lady behind was tutting at me & said rather loudly to her friend that it was no wonder children these days were so overweight, well i saw red, I told her very firmly that the chocolate was for me to make a selection of christmas gifts, homemade with love! I also asked if she thought my children looked overweight, she blushed & said no not at all, I then told her that my children were polite, well mannered unlike her, and maybe she should eat chocolate occassionally to sweeten her up GRRR! I know I probably made a bit of an idiot of myself but the cheek of some people makes me so angry. The cashier said I had made her week!
Anyway, after driving home & calming down, I now have a fridge full of trials: shotglass lollipops (with crushed candy cane) raisen & mixed nut slabs, and three differently decorated slabs! And I still have 15 bars left, maybe I will give them to my kids for there tea lol!
We have the perfect evening planned, dh is at work, eldest dd is sleeping at a friends, so little dd and i are having a sleepover in our lounge, with popcorn and homemade fruit smoothies whilst we watch xfactor & witness the first 2012 showing of cola advert...im not sure which of us is more excited about seeing it & the christmas countdown being able to begin as per our household tradition!!!It's not about getting what you want, It's about wanting what you get.0 -
Just a little reminder for all those that missed the Polar Express film when it was on a couple of weeks ago (or didn't record it) it's on again this afternoon/evening, ITV2 17.55-19.50.0
