I've been asked to make 5 stockings! Please help!
I am thinking of buying plain ones from a pound shop then decorate them. I'm going to go shopping this weekend for bits so any ideas would be appreciated :-)
I was also going to make or buy initials, made of either wood or salt dough to decorate and hang from them so they know who's is who's. (will tie them to the loop which you use to hang them up.)
Xx
i got the cheap ones from pound shop and just decorated them a couple of years ago, but in hoobycraft they have some sturdier ones but not sure on the price, althouhg mine are still going so for a £1 you cant go wrong, i put names on using felt and sewn them to the stocking have got pics somewhere will try and get them on here. i love the idea of using wood/salt dough for initials0 -

i made some tags last night (telly utter rubbish) had some templates in a x-mas book so used them and made these:
3 personalised ones (still 3more to do)
and ones for my biscuits (only things wrapped so far)0 -

Taking my teenage sister who is coca-cola mad!! 50 min drive but worth it.
It will be! Well I think so anyway! It's like meeting someone famous as you always see it on the adverts and then you get to see it in real life. It's all lit up and playing Christmas songs! :T0 -

Congratulations! That is fantastic. I'm so pleased for you.
Can you point me in the right direction to find something similar lol?My retail job is on a tiny contact and yet demands complete flexbility for 7 days a week. Pretty mad really and makes it hard to fit in a second part time job lol.

Congratulations pinknfluffy!
Thank you regarding my stocking making! My OH is taking me to £land, hobby craft & home bargains on Saturday! He must be in one good mood :-) & he said he will come with us to see the cola truck! Yippee.
Someone mentioned a real tree.. Went into Ikea today, they had posters up saying "buy a real tree here on the 1st & 7th December for £25 and get a free £20 voucher"
Seems like a good deal, didn't read the small boring stuff so there may have been some kind of catch. I don't have a real tree anymore so I didn't think to look properly. HTH!
Also brought a snowflake notebook from there.. So I am currently re writing all my lists :-) been running round the house like a mad women trying to find my 'neat writing pen' ...and my OH thinks I'm weird pfft!
