  • Just looked online at the IKEA deal, it says:
Pick up a real tree from just £25 and take home a £20 gift voucher
Deck your hall with a gorgeous, sustainable spruce and see how money does grow on Christmas trees.
On 1st and 8th December we will have Christmas trees for sale at IKEA Wembley. Pick up a real tree for just £25 and take home a £20 coupon to spend after the holidays.
We will also provide a tree recycling service for your tree from 6th to 13th January, so you don’t have to worry about what to do when the needles dry out. A FREE Christmas tree for the first 200 IKEA FAMILY members through the door on Saturday 1st December 2012. :j
One tree per household. Terms and conditions apply. While stocks last. Height and width of trees can vary.

Sounds great as long as theres not silly terms and conditions. :D I noticed they have a free creche?!! Do all Ikeas have that?!

  • My friends husband loves spicy things so would this look silly/rubbish? A bar of Lindt chilli chocolate, chilli pepper shaped fridge magnet pen and microwave chilli popcorn wrapped in a cellophane bag with an appropriate tag? Like a mini hamper I suppose. (we only exchange small gifts and it needs to be postable)

  • Had a fairly good day today. Went to Chelmsford on the hunt for new socks to make DS a new monkey. He lost his at the weekend.

Whilst there i went to poundland, pound world and the £1 shop! A few bargins but my favorite has to be magnets which turned my fridge into a snowman :snow_laug

Then for good measure popped to home bargins. Hubby working tomorrow nite so gonna have a good sort out while i taste test mulled wine and mince pies in the name of research for our schools xmas bazaar. The things i do for that school:santa2:
