    Xmas Saver!
This clock changing has really thrown me today.

I really don't know what time it is.

Have spent all afternoon doing tags and poems on the laptop with dd. It was harder than we thought it would be. We still have a few to do but have both had enough for one day.
At least it is one of those jobs that only need to be done once.

Both the slabs have nearly gone, so they must have been ok.
I am going to use a little less chocolate next time, as they were a bit thicker than they needed to be.
Just means my chocolate will go further.:j
  • Those still looking for ideas to put hampers etc together.. we got some of these in red in wilkinsons today, would look great with cellophane wrapping them etc. and not too big to struggle to fill

so sorry for your loss kayandy, *hugs*

anyone ever bought from the seller 'WeRChristmas' on Amazon? they have some beautiful decorations, but the reviews vary Ive got my eye on the sitting down Santa with the reindeer in silver and white, the gold one has a great review

I purchased from them the other week, though I did so via Ebay. It was the Pre-Lit Wooden Train Station. It arrived broken, but they had a new one sent to me within 24hrs which was in perfect condition. These things happen and I couldn't fault them on their customer care!

Ok just a quickie I will have a good ol' read & post tonight but....

The Santa doll set is ending on eBay in 8 mins, it's at £22.34 + £4 postage, I can't really justify that

    Can I?

    Dilemma :-(

Right, I have ordered the Christmas food!
    bacon x 2 (for breakfast) - done
    Turkey - done
    stuffing - done
    yorkshire puddings - done
    roast potatoes - done
    carrots & swede - done
    parsnips - done
    peas- done
    gravy - done
    pigs in blankets - done
chips (for boxing day with turkey club) - done

yule log (christmas day pudding)- done
    custard - done

    hamper:
    Potato chips - done
minced pie flavour popcorn - done
    salted popcorn - done
    festive friends - done
    coffee - done
(there is more in the hamper but this was what I had left to get)

    Tree:
    Candy Canes - done
    Chocolate - done

    baby visitors:
    biscuits - done

    advent calendars -done

    To buy nearer the time:
    lager (for hubby)
    diet coke (for me)
    bread
butternut squash (christmas eve & day)
    new potatoes (christmas eve)
    carrots (christmas eve)
    satsumas
    red grapes
    apples
    bananas

and hope that my mum is going to make us our christmas eve gammon (she already said she would do christmas cake, mince pies & apple pies - just enough for the 2 of us).

I don't think I have gone too OTT with junk food.
I really am determined to allow a few treats but mainly stick to healthy diet!!
    Does that all seem ok?

That basically covers our Christmas eve special dinner, christmas day, boxing day and also 27th & 28th with leftovers and our christmas eve hamper too.
(as well as as you can see the advent calendars and biscuits for when people visit the baby).
Everything is always better after a cup of tea
