. Think Lego are missing a trick. He specifically wants slippers so don't think the trainers or clogs would be any good but I will have a look. Might hae to convince him spiderman slippers are cooler :rotfl:
Thanks again
I live close to an MandS outlet, I could pop in tomorrow and look0 -

Another succesful day! Popped into hb to pick up some more xmas themed sweets n chocs for my candy boquets, and there on the shelf were three lone rudolf scene-it games! when i asked last week they said they wouldnt be getting any! picked up 2, one for elves to bring us and one for twin nephews! So happy! Also got some of the snowman marshmallows for my soup, and some cute little gold tubs. Got home and made up mini pots of gold with youngest dd, these are going to have name tags attatched and go on our dinner table xmas day, theyre gonna be a splash of colour with my black & silver theme! I cant wait any longer so once kids are in bed im going to start putting some snowman soups together, just the ones that are going to be given out early december though as i dont want rock-hard marshmallows lol. If anyone is looking for xmas choccies, poundland have cute little sets of a mini santa & 4 reindeer. The gold packaged reindeers are ideal for pots of gold! It's not about getting what you want, It's about wanting what you get.0

Thnks again

spacecadet1 wrote: »Morning, I was hoping one of you wonderful MSErs would be able to help me find something. DS has very little on his Christmas list (more interested in finding ideas for his little brother) but one thing he's asked for is a pair of Lego slippers. I've hunted high & low & can't seem to find any anywhere. The only pair I've found (Lego batman) are on eBay & the wrong size but hey look like they were from M&S so they've obviously done them at some time but nothing on their website now
Has anyone seen any on their travels? Not bothered if they're Batman, Star Wars, Harry Potter or anything else, as long as they're Lego themed. Can't believe Lego don't seem to have brought more out, I'm sure they'd be popular.
Anyway, TIA
how about buying this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3-Metres-Grosgrain-Ribbon-7-8-22mm-LEGO-NINJAGO-Scrapbooking-Craft-Kids-Boys-/271041634832?pt=UK_Crafts_Cardmaking_Scrapbooking_Ribbons_Fibres_EH&hash=item3f1b572210&_uhb=1 and sewing it or super glueing it around the bottom of a pair of plain slippers..you might be able to find a lego charachter fabric badge you could sew on to the top of the slippers hope this helps you0 -
Hubby went to asda earlier and for anyone who has little boys or even girls like my little one and is nuts on dinosaurs, they have little chocolate biscuits like festive friends but in the shape of dinosaurs, I have a four year old girl who nuts on dinosaurs so she is going to love them, hubby came home with them and said to me I can't believe you have me looking at Christmas stuff in asda when I only went in for a bottle of wine. I picked up these and showed me, I burst out laughing, my addiction to Christmas and MSE is rubbing off on him. They also had little red Santa purses with snow balls in which he also picked up. He is in my good books now bless him x'There are far better things ahead Than any we leave behind '0

I'll join you in the 'omg he's only six that seems to big' club
DS is also 6 and wears clothes for age 9 mostly due to his height and is a 13.5 in some shoes and in others... He's a 1!!
When he has a little whinge or talks in the way 6 year old do, about teddy bears etc in public, I get people looking at me as if to say 'why is that 9-10 year old boy acting like a 5/6 year old! I feel like putting a sign around his neck that says 'Im only six, I may look big, but I'm not' ! :rotfl:
I can't remember who asked about the lego slippers but I'll keep my eyes peeled and post on here if i find anything, It's really bugging me because I know I have seen some in the past year somewhere! I just can't think where!!
It may have been the lego shop!? But I couldn't say for sure. DS is a huge lego fan as well so we always look at lego things and have been in the actual lego shop a fair few times since it opened at the TC. May be worth enquiring with them via email or phone to see if they have some?
I completely forgot to mention in my post yesterday, I have the Rudolph game :j I can't wait to play it, it looks fab! Thanks to everyone for offering to post one, and to those to took the time to come and post where they had seen them close by so I could go and get one. I'm thrilled I've managed to get one
I've finally started picking up a few foody xmas treats to put away in the cupboard. I've been getting the odd extra normal food bits here and there but I really wanted to get some nice snacks etc so I won't end up spending a fortune in december on them as I have in the past.
I was looking in Tesco today and some of there food on the seasonal isle for xmas will be changing price on the 15th! I won't be going back before then so I grabbed some festive friends as well for £1 before they shoot up to £1.99 in two days time.
I've seen a few people mention pigs in blankets falvoured pom bear crisp shaped as snowmen instead, would anyone be able to tell me whereabouts in store they got there's ?
There were non in my seasonal isle, nor anywhere else I looked! Would love to get a few packs. I adore pom bears, I buy them all the time and these snowmen ones sound brilliant!Having a coke with youis even more fun than going to San Sebastian, Irun, Hendaye, Biarritz, Bayonne
or being sick to my stomach on the Travesera de Gracia in Barcelona0 -
A picture only special people get to see
The books need moving away, but yes. That is a picture from my bedroom 5 mins ago with the Christmas tree up
It's not decorated or anything, it's just together and all scrunched up in the corner behind a load of stuff because things have been so crazy that it just never got put away once the decorations were taken off and with everything that's gone on I haven't had time to put it away, so now it's a feature :rotfl:
The bottom right hand corner with all the fleece blankets over it are the decorations :rotfl: They're not all Christmas presents though, my brothers birthday present (the blue one) and his nieces birthday presents (the spotty one and jelly bean one in the gift bag) and my grandad's birthday present (jelly bean one with the red bow) are there too. The only problem is that their birthdays are 18th December, 4th November and 21st October respectively :rotfl:
The reason they're all wrapped is because I have no storage whatsoever and being wrapped keeps nosey people out of the way - as well as being a real timesaver too!
Gleek I am :rotfl: Photo taken in APRIL :rotfl:
I have never read this thread from the beginning. It just moves too quickly.
But thought I would have a look for some of the original links
Am getting worried now. Thats a lot to live up to.0
