I've got some delicate handmade things I might be sending through the post this year. Does anyone know where on earth I could buy small boxes to send them in and those polystyrene packing peanut things?
There must be somewhere really obvious to get them, but I can't find them anywhere! (Have looked online at Staples, B&Q, Homebase, etc.):rudolf: :rudolf: :rudolf: :rudolf: :rudolf:0 -

I'm looking to top last year's Big Gift Wrapping - I wrapped a 5-foot-tall box completely in duct tape, added a duct tape bow and hid it, then presented DH with a treasure hunt written in lovely poetic clues.
During the course of this treasure hunt he discovered that his bedside table has two drawers, not one :rotfl:Own_My_Own wrote: »Christmas activity printables
PERFECT thank you! I am making a Christmas activity set for our flight. Perfect.I've got some delicate handmade things I might be sending through the post this year. Does anyone know where on earth I could buy small boxes to send them in and those polystyrene packing peanut things?
Shoeboxes? Or mug boxes? Shops like Past Times get mugs in boxes and then get rid of the boxes, so if you have one local you could pop in and ask if they get rid of them, and then if you could have some. If you get there on the day of delivery you might be lucky. Instead of packing peanuts, you could use popcorn? tb1967 congrats on the birth of Oscar, I hope you are feeling better quickly so you can get to have a cuddle!
we went out for a drive and a coffee and had a walk round nearby town ... spotted a Poundland!! thankfully the puppy dog eyes worked and we popped in, what an awesome place!! they had big bags of Cadburys Chocolate Peanuts (not exciting I know, but I always loved those and can only get the raisens in our supermarkets!) a new scientifc calculator that DS needed, some sandwich boxes and a couple of bits, loved all the Christmas gift bags and the musical Christmas ties! DS set them all off, but hubby still reckons no way would he wear one to work in December ...puppy dog eyes didnt work on that!
must get back there and get one and make him wear it!0 -

plenty of all 3 designs in Cardiff Primark in good variety of sizes. I found that I had to go down a size to get a better fit. Correct size was baggy (and not in a good way), so I'd recommend trying on for sizeknow thyselfNid wy'n gofyn bywyd moethus...0 -
sorry spacecadet1- I've looked but can't find lego slippers anywhere. lego trainers and lego clogs - would he be happy with either of these?[/QUOTE]
Thanks so much for looking. You seem to be able to get everything but slippers. Think Lego are missing a trick. He specifically wants slippers so don't think the trainers or clogs would be any good but I will have a look. Might hae to convince him spiderman slippers are cooler :rotfl:
Thanks again0 -

Thanks, thats so kind. He'd probably need a size 1 or maybe 2 . He's a 13/13.5 now but think slippers need to be bit bigger. Just realised how scary that is, seems so big, he's only 6  :A

Are you crafty at all? If you were able to build something like this (just the top part), then hot-glue it together and stick it to regular slippers that might be an option?Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76
