  • I never knew poppers still existed! I used to have them years ago after school but haven't seen them since.
Thanks for the ideas, I'll rummage round pound land tomorrow :-)

    Hello,

Saw some people asking for pics of xmas jumpers at primark - heres some from the doncaster branch:

They were £12 each. I got a penguin one :j:j

I bought 2 for DD if anyone wants to see them. Think there were 4 different designs tho, but didn't take photos of all of them.

I also made myself an elf which I am really pleased with :j:j Can't wait for it to come and visit and create mayhem :T:T

I'm here!!! Finally!!! Can't remember when my last post was but it's taken me since then to catch up on 82 pages of chit chat :eek::eek:

Congratualtions Will-be-debt-free!!! Can't wait till I find out, on the 22nd, whether we're expecting a little blue bubba or another pink one - so jealous of all these people who are due before Christmas!!! I loved having a tiny baby at Christmas to dress up in little reindeer costumes etc :D:D:D

Reached a bit of a standstill on the shopping front.....really need to update my list...think I'll do it now while the OH is playing on his computer game (what is it with men and computer games?!?!?!) :wall: Now DD's 2nd birthday is out of the way (9th October) I can focus entirely on Christmas :xmassign:

:santa2::santa2::santa2:Oh and a big welcome to all the newbies I've missed!!!:santa2::santa2::santa2:
  • So much to catch up on, will have to try over the weekend

Little Lexie finally made an appearance on tues evening at 11.52pm in a very quick labour, sadly she has a little heart condition (like her sister) but nothing too complicated, finally came home this morning, she weighted 6lb11.

Am very happy and tired!!!! Thanks for all your well wishes, will pop a photo on over weekend if I can!!

Congratulations, hope you are both happy and healthy :T :j :grouphug:

Congratulations to you on the birth of your little girl.

Wow so much to catch up on, only been away two days. Have been away for my husband's medal parade, travelling back as we speak. Thank god for 3G and a I pad, catching up on posts while on motorway ha ha. Lots of talk about christmas films, our ones that tend to be our traditional ones is polar express, Santa Claus and me and hubby always watch bad Santa Christmas Eve once the kids are in bed. We have the rudolf film to watch as we have the scene it game for Christmas Eve but there are so many christmas films on sky in December we end up watching so many.

Thank you to the poster who said about the champagne on offer in sainsburys will pick two bottles up tommorow. Will have to do marks and spencer food order too at some point. We are not going mad as its just us this year so will order our desserts and some bits to hit 60 quid and use the discount and voucher etc. Got marks and spencer vouchers from taking sky hd out earlier in the year and from surveys so will use those when going into store for other bits like my smoked salmon and christmas cake etc because don't need the amount that is stated on the online food ordering. Picked up the kids fleece blankets christmas cookie and a reindeer one. The Christmas hampers are nearly finished. Right better go and continue to catch up on all the posts :)

Ooh also while I think on for anyone doing Candy Sleighs they have the giant candy canes for £1each in tescos.....also for people doing the smaller versions I've found that the Kinder bars fit perfectly on top of the kitkats to stack...plus it's the yummiest chocolate ever ;) I've just got some of these http://www.superdrug.com/ferrero/ferro-kinder-chocolate-small-bars/invt/544557/ instore today but if your local superdrug doesn't have any instore you could just order them online and take advantage of the free delivery offer ;)

To anyone in the East Yorkshire area you MUST go to Christmas world at Spring Garden centre (Sigglesthorne) we went at the weekend and their display is completely finished.....CHRISTMAS HEAVEN!!!! Thought this may be of use to any of you in the area :)
