I really need to get down to my local Home Bargains, havent been in there in absolutely ages.
Going to sort through the prezzies Ive bought already now and make lists of what Ive got who and who I still need to get for
Jammygal-Sounds like you bought loads of fab stuff!!
Had a fab shop at HB today, loads of great stuff! Not so good in Matalan though, no boys christmas pyjamas.Nice ladies xmas socks for £1 though, I got some robin ones.
They had some gorgeous ladies christmas pyjama trousers with reindeer on for £7, SO wanted them but didnt have any money left after HB lol. The boys christmas pyjama hunt goes on! Anyway this is what I got in HB for christmas:
Various Olympics mugs 29p/39p
Belle Disney Princess bath set 99p (fizzers and foam shapes to 'dress' Belle. Saw this in Boots when they reduced their toys a while ago and im sure it was still £3 odd with 75% off!)
Several Winnie the Pooh flannels for shoeboxes 29p each
Skull shape lip gloss 39p (halloween section)
Rudolph DVD game £4.99 :j
London 2012 breakfast set 99p (mug, bowl and plate)
Gummy body parts in coffin box 89p
Recipes you'd cook if it were the end of the world book (lol) 39p (desperately wanted this for the other zombie apocalypse hamper but after i got one last time there was only one left and that was last month so wasnt hopeful but found it abandoned on a random shelf.)
2 packs of storage boxes 59p!! (Im trying to organise my flat lol but they would be brilliant for hampers, less than 30p each! They had rainbow ones, dotty ones, purple stripe and blue stripe!)
Huge metal drinking bottles with Jacob from Twilight on them 79p (no Edward left bah!)
Light up glow wand/swords 59p each
Skull jelly sweets for uncles stocking 19p
Very pretty set of 2 pens 99p (very Cath Kidston style)
Candy canes 79p
I need to sort out what exactly is going into each hamper as I cant even remember what Ive got so far lol!'They only had one cow!'0 -

mine has just cooked, it smells delish!! i make one every year for my parents and for the inlaws, i feed it every week with brandy from now until xmas!
I do that to, I make one big one and cut it in half, one half for us and one half for DP's mum. It has just gone in so I am waiting for the smell to start permeating, 4 hours to go and then I will leave it overnight in the tin.
YUM!I promise that I will do my best.....0 -
Here are my flavoured vodkas. My neighbour has just tried them and wants me to make her some, so they can't be that bad.
Ended up putting 4 packs of werthers in, but it needed it.
Just need to re-bottle them and make tags.0 -

if anyone happens to see red napkins with sequins on their travels please would you let me know? Ive got a red sequin runner in the Next Jan sale, and silver glittery place mats from Next (they are £12 for 4 but they are reversible, the other side is gold glitter so can change the color scheme easily!) ive got silver and red crackers, so would like some nice red glittery or sequined napkins to complete the table
tbought I'd use red and silver ribbon and wrap for the sleighs for the table
Any good??

Congratulations Will-Be-Debt-Free!
Can anyone suggest a Christmas DVD for our Christmas Eve hamper? Last year we had Nativity which we loved and I'd never heard of it until I saw it mentioned on here last year.
We've most of the main classics, Miracle on 34th Street, Elf, Bad Santa, Santa Claus, etc., and we saw Arthur Christmas at the cinema so trying to find something none of us have seen. I've looked at the Christmas releases for this year and there doesn't seem to be a lot. My children are 7 & 5 if that helps and looking for something that has the same amusing but Christmassy feel like Nativity. The only film I can see that we haven't seen is the Polar Express, we did have it for ages via Love Film but never ended up watching it and I've read some quite depressing reviews.
Any help would be appreciated as it's the one thing for this year I'm really, really stuck on!
You didn't mention the snowman that's a lovely one to watch although not very long . I'm guessing that maybe they are a little young for the grinch ? :undecided0 -

Don't want to be a Grinch but I really can't stand The Snowman. I don't think I have ever seen it all the way through, I try to afford it at all costs, if I'm honest.0 -
