quick info on S'burys, this morning they had the Scotch Tape Dispensers (the fab ones you put on the back of your hand) for 49p (includes one strip of tapes) they are usually very pricey, hanging up on a hanging strip in the Christmas wrap section, they had loads of them - unfortunately no refill packs in stock but worth a check as it's the refills that cost, (I think they are 1.75 for pack of 3 in Mr T), but well worth grabbing one if you want one for all that wrapping!

also in stationary, any of you who have teens with the constant exams and revisions! mine both use the Pukka Project books which are RRP 4.99, you can buy refill pads to slot in between the sections etc,. they find them great for revision notes and they don't fall apart - anyway, they are 99p for the project books and 79p for the refill books, also tub of 30 gel pens (black, blue, red) 6.99 down to 99p, handwriting pens 2 pack 49p etc, mostly 90% off in S'burys stationary aisle so good time to stock up before the next lot of mocks in january! Also lots of other pads, books, pens etc 70-90% off may be good for stockings/hampers etc

I think Ill actually make snowman soup this year, Ive sort of done it before but without the poem and put all the stuff in a mug and cellophaned it. Think it looks lovely in the cones so will definitely make some for teachers and the christmas eve hamper. I ordered 2 cheap blurays yesterday for OHs stocking and have just ordered MIL a handcream from Superdrug as a little extra. Its only 65p and looks lovely. Free delivery on all orders too!

Snugglebunny8-Thanks for the dispenser info, I love this tape and managed to get 2 refills in the clearance section in Asda ages ago for 50p each I think but cant find my dispenser! Ill have a look today.

Thank you - looked in tescos but there weren't any (quite a big tescos too). Will check out asda today, but ours is only a small one (a netto converted). Have also looked in Lidl, B&M, poundland, poundworld, home bargains, wilkinsons. They didn't have any! I was really surprised. I suppose more things will come out after halloween has finished tho.

I've remembered why I don't come on this thread so much - it ends up costing me money! Not only am I doing a christmas elf and christmas eve hampers - I have also bought rudolph monopoly and now I want a christmas jumper from Primark :rotfl::rotfl:

Its still fab tho and I'm sure I will save lots of money on other things to make up for buying extra things this year :cool:

they are fab little things arent they! makes wrapping so much easier than cutting bits off a roll, sticking them down the side of the table then the damn cat batting them all off and covering them in cat fluff! :rotfl: last year there was something, I think it might have been 'supersavvyme'? where the first 200 people who sent their details got a free Scotch dispenser and refill, I got one then, but every year somehow I seem to lose one and have to get a new one the next year! I must glue it to the tree base or something after Chrsitmas so I know where it is! I look out for refills all the time but never seem to get a big bargain, 50p is fab!

Abis21, Asda have £1 boxes of fizzy candy canes, pretty colours! and the normal ones too, Tesco have the usual ones £1

Thats a very good idea! :rotfl: I also do the table thing haha or stick them to my leg and they get trouser fluff on them! If I see any refills cheap I shall let you know.
