Im also thinking of doing a joint 'cosy night in' hamper for our two close friends (husband & wife) her fave drink in hot choc, so i thought snowman soup, his is coffee...anything i could do with that?

Also, has anybody got any ideas of what else i can put in it, they have a lovely open log fire and love all things cosy, so i thought this would be a good idea, but obviously i dnt want to make it too girly as its for both. looking to spend around £15 max.

    Thankyou......:D:D

You could get a nice fluffy fleece/throw to snuggle up under and maybe some chocs for sharing (or not haha!) - useful and fairly good for bulking up the pressie? If a normal fleece is too plain then how about a no-sew blanket? Easy peasy instructions here are just one example..

Also for him you get flavoured coffee if that's something he might like or coffee syrups just to make it a bit different?

Anyway, just posting to let Damzel and anyone else local to me know that Wigan Home Bargains - the one near Robin Retail Park, just off Saddle Junction, has the Rudolph Scene It in - we went on Monday and they had about 12 on the shelf. Like Damzel's already posted, there's none in Leigh, I also checked Platt Bridge and the one in Wigan Town Centre and neither of them have it either - I haven't ventured further afield, sorry. I was doing exactly the same though, proper sulking that I wanted it NOW! Have got it now anyway so on to the next MUST have ;) I'm umming and aahing about the Rudolph Monopoly but just can't spare £20 at the minute :(

Thankyou for taking the time to post this and let me know, Im really grateful. I have only ever been to wigan twice in my life and once was to go to the hospital lol. But It isn't that far away at all and I could get there on the train in no time at all, I just never think about going for some reason. I have friends who go there a lot though as always seem to get loads of interesting/cool stuff.
So if all other HB's fail me, I shall be putting my coat and scarf on and heading to wigan :D Thanks again for letting me know!
I would love the Rudolph Monopoly as well but I can't afford to spend £20 on it, I don't think DS is really old enough for it yet either so it would really be just me playing it with myself haha! You never know though, It may be on sale somewhere after christmas in which case you could get it for next year? :)

I went in B&M today and guess what? It looks like christmas threw up :j
The past few weeks its just been around two isles of gift sets and the off xmas item etc, Now they have 7 isles of christmas stock out and there was so much stuff I wanted! I don't ususally really like B&Ms xmas decorations, But this year they seem to have gone a bit more 'classy' on a lot of things and if I was rich I would of filled my trolley :rotfl:

I managed to get the £1.99 doormat! I got the red one with santa on, for £1.99 it's great and I'm really pleased with it. They also have a few different sets of pale glittery cream window stickers, They are quite old worldly patterns, very traditional and absolutely gorgeous for £1.69. I got the reindeer one's and am going to stick them on the small kitchen window above the sink :)
Also managed to get DS a make your own snow globe craft set for 99p which will go in his xmas eve hamper for him to do on xmas eve. They also have a make your own christmas tree set for anyone else who's interested in getting the sets :)
    Having a coke with you
is even more fun than going to San Sebastian, Irun, Hendaye, Biarritz, Bayonne
or being sick to my stomach on the Travesera de Gracia in Barcelona
  • I've just picked up a lovely Xmas fllece from Primark for £5.00 which is really soft and fluffy. I was thinking of doing a night in hamper for my SIL and BIL. Was thinking of putting a DVD in, choccies, a fleece etc but any ideas would be gratefuly received. And thanks about the M&S post - just going on now to check.

Kemo these would be lovely in a cosy night in hamper - might be a bit pricey though? Perhaps have a search for a cheaper brand ? My mum was given some last year and they were lovely.

Amanda65 - Good idea - I thought maybe doing a Fox's Glacier Mint vodka too (as the cool one versus the hot chilli vodka shot in the russian roulette!) - I've tried it before and its delicious!

Does anyone know the cheapest place to buy smaller bottles?
