    More the merrier.

I bought a £150 Xmas tree at homebase in January for £15.00 . Can't wait to put it up this year.

When does everyone put up the Christmas Tree?

For us, it always goes up the first day of advent (I.e December 1st) this year it falls on a Saturday so perfect:T

Sorry to be a pedant, but when it comes to dates this is quite important - Advent starts with Advent Sunday, which is always the fourth Sunday before Christmas Day, so this year it falls on Sunday 2nd December :) So that's only a day out, but Advent definitely doesn't start on December 1st. Advent calendars may do, but they're not what Advent is about :)

And to think I'm not even religious ;) :rotfl:
Despite the name, I'm actually a laydee!

Our Christmas tree goes up on the 21st dec, kno it's later than most it's crept a few days earlier over the last few years. Not going any earlier than 21st tho it's our DGDs birthday on the 20th n I like her to have her birthday THEN Christmas :) she'll only be two this year but want to make it a new tradition.

I've been offered a job! Woohoo! :) I start in a couple of weeks and cannot wait to have money coming in again so I can properly get a few xmas things in :)

I got a few bits and bobs the other day from home bargains for my friends' mini xmas bags :)

Thank you! :) I'm going to do some of the little 'snowman soup' christmas gift bags that I've heard people mention on here for ages...I didn't know what they were until the other week! It's a little bag with hot chocolate, marshmallows, little chocolates, a candy cane etc. but I'm going to add a few other things too like chocolate face masks :) ..you can print out tags for the bags from some websites which come with a little 'snowman soup' poem too!

If you google search 'snowman soup' you'll find lots of info on them and pictures too :)
