I apologise for replying yet again haha, But you appear to have started me on some sort of mad avengers man hunt, I absolutely love these films and have always been a huge marvel fan, so any excuse... :rotfl:
But this seems like a fab bargain to me! Free postage and only £5.49 for an avengers towel?? I'm tempted to get one myself!

Then I had to go into M&S and got 2 santas 1 with honeycomb and 1 bubbly (i like these for my stocking as they aren't high in calories!) mince pies which were obviously last years as they expire today so were reduced but can be frozen. I hunted for percy pig calendar but they didn't have oneI hinted at hubby that I want him to buy me penny pigs so hopefully he will when the baby is born :T they are the yellow ones and absolutely amazing! I also brought 4 nursing bras (and almost died a death at the til!).
i dont know if this helps but i got my nursring bras last week from vertbaudet - as a new customer i got £15 off, and they had some reduced to £12.50 - maybe worth a look
Know thats not very christmassy - but am due tomorrow and hard to get baby off my mind!!!!
Hi thank you,
unfortunately they were the only place that make them big enough  and also had them in stock. I used a gift voucher towards them which was a help also.
I tried them on when I got home and they seem a little big right now but Im keeping the tags/receipts so i can exchange if need be. TBH I think they will end up being just perfect when my milk comes in but just to be on the safe side.moneysavingmumofone wrote: »
chirpychick-Thanks I didnt think of looking online but alas, none in his size out of all 3 designs!I go to Asda a few times a week so its my mission to get one.
Hmm sorry Im not the best at thinking of pressies for men, is there anything on his ebay watch list or amazon basket that hes been after? My OH is always adding junk to ours! :rotfl:
shame about Asda! Keep looking
on his ebay he just has random things like lightbulbs and tennis balls for the dogs LOL and no amazon wish list unlike moi who has 3 :rotfl:cornishorchid wrote: »I hope evrythign is OK with you 2 now...but like you said its good that he feels he can talk to you
on the avengers side of things..im doing a kind of comic book theme for my OH stocking, only got a few things, but will be hunting for more. I have brought him a marvel 2013 diary http://www.amazon.co.uk/Marvel-Comics-Retro-Deluxe-Diary/dp/3832761047/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1349035578&sr=8-1 have to say this was only £6.50 when i ordered it last week, also got him marvel top trumps, plus on play.com they have some fab tshirts, just type in marvel and loads of things come up. Ive seen an aftershave/shower gel set on a website somewhere, but always a bit dubious of not being able to smell it first..sometimes its horrible! also a=maybe looking for some boxer shorts or pjs fo him
Hope this ives you a few ideas?
Thank you that does help!
Another issue I have is finding things to fit him as he is xxxl.
I got his t shirt from asda about 3 months ago now.
I might see if i can try and "make" some things on vista print.Everything is always better after a cup of tea0 -

SavvyKate, am so jealous as I don't have a Poundstore and wanted the owl moneyboxes!! did get the tins with sunflowers from dotcomgiftshop though, their sale was amazing! x
oh no! that's rubbish you don't have a local one. do you have any friends or family that live near one that could help you out?
the dotcomgiftshop sales are SO addictive, I buy far too much for them, but never when there's not a sale.:jGoals for 2015:jWin £2015 in 2015: £304.08/£2015Reach goal for house depositReach 11st (4.5lbs to go)0 -
OMG 48 hours away from the computer and 12 pages!!
Have been to my nephew's christening and had a good old family catch-up. On the christmas front though it's been a bit of a disastrous week. First the trauma of discovering the tooth fairy and by extension Santa isn't real, and then on Friday DS discovers his main present! Didn't tell me, but I found it moved and it was him so I guess he knows. Sigh. Don't seem to be doing well Christmassy well at the moment.0 -
This happened to me yesterday (or so I thought!) I visited our local Range and was surprised there was hardly any Christmas stuff out. As I was at check out I happened to glance upstairs and hadn't realised the whole of upstairs was dedicated to Christmas! Trouble is my daughter is in a wheelchair and their lift wasn't working gggrrrr
Oh noo, how frustrating!
I shall have to remember to check if mine has an upstairs. (Never been there before.)LalaGomay - where did you get you Xmas toilet paper from? REALLY, REALLY want some, but when I looked last year was v expensive!
It is 2.95 from dotcomgiftshop.com (there was a sale on so it was probably less).

Kiiiiiind of reasonable if you're already making an order from them, but not really worth it on its own with the delivery charge too.:rudolf: :rudolf: :rudolf: :rudolf: :rudolf:0 -

Bless You
I used to tell Dd (Ds never looked) that I was hiding presents for friends. Luckily I had a friend with Dd a year older than mine. She believed me every year:j I would then ask if she wanted one, (knowing that she did).
It was quite funny, when ever my friend came round with her Dd, mine would give me a wink and a nod. (If only she could wink, she still shut both eyes.):rotfl:0 -
Oh no Possession! what a shame! is there anywhere you could hide them that you could take the door handle off?
or perhaps a relative could keep the gifts for you so they don't find them?
SavvyKate my OH has said he will pop into the one near work for me ....result!0 -
Evening all,
I managed to make 2 christmas cards this afternoon then I ran out of double sided tape! D'oh!
Looks like it'll have to be a trip to the range tomorrow0
