  • Haha love it! :D I NEED christmas toilet paper, where was it from? Wanted to get the reindeer one from Lidl last year but they didnt have any left. :( I just thought I might make the white door of my electric cupbaord in the communal hallway into a snowman. :rotfl:

    Hee! Excellent idea.
Mine was from here http://www.dotcomgiftshop.com/loo-roll-redwhite-xmas-design but I'm sure I could have found it cheaper somewhere. It was an impulse buy!
I got a santa toilet seat cover from poundland last year! I was shocked at the quality as it was superb! It had a bell on the hat and is lovely and thick. I love it, It just adds that extra bit of christmas in a room that never see's any :D

Sort of like this but without the bathmat extra and actually looks better in my opinion ;)

Love it! It's about time bathrooms got more festive, I think.

  • I've been into town today to pick up the Christmas £5 book box set (thanks OP) and also a set of 3 Madeline Wickham (sophie kinsella) books for the same price.

Almost keeled over at the price of Choccy Oranges in there this year........ almost £4!!!!:eek: I know they are BOGOF but seriously does ANYONE pay that price???? Have poundland got them in this year??
loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:
  • I agree about xmas pressies. You can only spend what you have. had a friend at school who I was so jealous of as she had soooo much for christmas. Turns out years later she was telling me her Mum would wrack up thousands on the credit card. They got made bankrupt in the end coz she owed so much money! She did also tell me she was jealous of our christmas as we didnt have much pressies but always a lot of love and time together! Just goes to show behind closed doors eh...

Anyway, my lovely friend went doen to argos for me today as she works there so gets a discount so that mde the pennies stretch a bit.

I think DD1 is very nearly finished. Shes got 2 bits of playmobil, swimming dora and some moshis, polly pockets and lego friends she wanted. Will get her a dvd and a book maybe and then leave it at that or I will go overboard again!

DD2 has some sylvanians and my little pony and a playtent thing. Just need to get her some more little bits. She really wanted the hello kitty oven but the reviews are soooo terrible I couldnt do it! LOL

We only live in a small 2 up, 2 down so just tend to decorate the living room/dining room and usually the staircase! Need to get some christmas loo roll in my life tho!!!!

    xxx

I got that last week! It's sooooo soft. It's gone in the Christmas Eve hamper.

    :eek::eek::eek:
I've clearly missed a post somewhere. What throw is this please? :D
I've wanted a christmas throw for months now but all the ones i've seen have been £20 plus, which even if i had the money i still wouldnt pay.
    Having a coke with you
is even more fun than going to San Sebastian, Irun, Hendaye, Biarritz, Bayonne
or being sick to my stomach on the Travesera de Gracia in Barcelona
  • Asda supposedly does his size but none in stock at ours. :(

You can order online and collect from your local store - this is what I have to do with my DH's jeans (it's cheaper for us to collect than to pay for postage but obviously you'd need to work that out for you lol)

I have just put mine in the Christmas eve hamper too :D

I have just sat on the bed and directed my hubby to put everything away in the right place. Each "household" that have presents from us has a box and most of them are wrapped but everything is in the right box and i will finish wrapping them this week.
Ive done it this way this year so that hubby also knows where everything is so he can dish them out when people visit.

Hubby's Birthday is on Tuesday I need to wrap a couple of little bits but thats done.

I am desperate to get something special for my hubby. I feel for him so much, he did say today that I am really hard to live with at the moment (and i know i am!) then I just burst out crying :rotfl: and he felt terrible but thats just hormones i said i was fine and i was glad he felt able to talk to me, he wasn't mean or anything. I wanted to help towards the mobile he wanted but he isn't sure he wants one now, I wanted to maybe do an avengers hamper as something to give him at the end of christmas day as a surprise but i only have the dvd and a t shirt and i cant think of anything else to put in it and everything i have seen is super expensive. I don't want to get him anything baby related, I want it to just be something a bit luxurious/treaty/indulgent just for him. Does that make any sense at all?
    Does anyone have any suggestions?

Also i really love these and it would be avengers themed but also really useful to have. If you google it you can get other characters .:)

Edit to add - Just seen you already have a tshirt! Sorry! Although at that price it might not be a bad thing having two to make it look 'more'? I'm not sure which tshirt you have, but i think that one on play is quite cool, I wish i had someone to buy it for lol.

  • Hello!

Then I had to go into M&S and got 2 santas 1 with honeycomb and 1 bubbly (i like these for my stocking as they aren't high in calories!) mince pies which were obviously last years as they expire today so were reduced but can be frozen. I hunted for percy pig calendar but they didn't have one :( I hinted at hubby that I want him to buy me penny pigs so hopefully he will when the baby is born :T they are the yellow ones and absolutely amazing! I also brought 4 nursing bras (and almost died a death at the til!).

i dont know if this helps but i got my nursring bras last week from vertbaudet - as a new customer i got £15 off, and they had some reduced to £12.50 - maybe worth a look

Know thats not very christmassy - but am due tomorrow and hard to get baby off my mind!!!!

Ooooo thankyou Ill have a nosy, that one is lovely though :D
I'll just have to wait 2 weeks and put £5 away this week and again next week. Drives me mental when i want something that's fairly cheap but the postage is almost the same price as the item :(
