  • oh i love ceiling decs the bigger the better and as many springy long things as we can fit in :)

when putting the xmas tree up last year it looked weird then realized no tinsel!!! soon sorted that out gotta love tinsel on the tree, rnd photos, wrapped round the banister and on the dash of the car :D

as for the rest of the house the kids have 2 mini trees for thier bedrooms £1land ones but they love um and get to decorate them and the big 1 in the front room.
kids usually av the paper-chains we make in there rooms
kitchen dec normally fall down with the heat but usually put a few xmas bits on window ledge and kids xmas bits from school on the fridge :)
and we have a light for every window and do up the front garden with santa stop here sign etc
  • I love tinsel, put it on the tele, photo frames and everything.
I dont use ceiling decs due to the stupid spot lights (we dont even use them we use a lamp but i dont risk it) we only decorate our living room.
Everything is always better after a cup of tea
  • Need some quick advice.

I got dd a Paul Frank tote bag today in Claires. It was £10 down from £25, and in the 342.

I only got one. I have just thought I could have got 2 older nieces them instead of money. They are 2 of 4, so the amount I allocate is not large per person.

so A Do you think I could take my bag back tommorow for a refund, then buy 3 for £20.

and B Their present would have only cost me £5 each, which is less than the money I give them. Is this Ok.

and C If I can get them , do I get them the same bag or different colours ?
  • tenmah- That was the same with The Range in Reading, all the stuff upstairs except for a small bit with foody stuff downstairs. How annoying, hope you manage to go back and take a look soon. :)

will-be-debt-free-How exciting! Good luck in case baby appears on time and we dont see you on here again before then. :)

With him being so young, could you not get some toy story bits from ebay etc even carboot sales? As long as the condition is ok he wouldn't know the difference and you could potentially save a fortune.
I agree, check charity shops too. If you can go to ones a little further afield as last week i went to one about 20 mins away and got bags of toys (sandwich bag type but a bit bigger) 50p each! I got toy story (one had the squeaky penguin in, was most excited. :o) dr who, :o corgi/matchbox cars/planes it was great! They didnt use to have them so worth a look in the ones near you even if theyve been crap before lol.
Morrisons always does "The snowman" toilet paper and kitchen roll and is always on offer over christmas.I have bought it for the last 4 yrs. £1.50 for 4 pack

kaymumof3-Great bargains! Theres nothing wrong with you, anyone who wants plain toilet roll at christmas is just weird! :p

Ownmyown-I love tinsel and tacky and glitterrrr haha but I have known a few people who hate tinsel!

LalaGoMay-Tinsel smells like christmas! The first whiff of it transports me back to decorating when i was little! :)

I am over the moon today as my best friend has had her baby boy! Soooo happy for her! :D So exciting, Ive been on tenterhooks all day! I have already bought him a cute christmas outfit. :D
