I was 8 when my older brother told me about Santa, and I remember being shocked and upset, I wasnt ready to hear that!
(and probably still hold it against him :rotfl:) My DD said she was suspicious at 9 and didnt really beleive at 10, DS was the same but he's never let on - as you say, bread/butter! :rotfl:! I just hope my nephews don't tell them when they stop believing (the eldest is 10 now...)
Not getting much crafting done trying to keep up with this thread, only 4 more pages to go I think :rotfl:0 -

Just spotted something about CamelCamelCamel that I hadnt realised which is REALLY helpful! if you put something on to watch on Amazon and put in the price you want, it gives you total price history ...so if you ordered something on preorder under their price guarantee already, it shows you lower prices you may not have seen! one of my gifts I preordered in July, out in October, I saw it for pre order elsewhere slightly cheaper so thought I might cancel Amazon if it doesnt come down to that price before release .. when I put it in to watch at a lower price today it showed me that it had come down one night at 3.55am (after I pre ordered) to the price I wanted to pay - so I should get it at that price under the guarantee even though I didnt see it!
don't know if everyone knew that anyway, but I didnt!0 -

Bring on Christmas...it is my birthday today and my wonderful OH listened to my hints and bought me a kenwood kMix. Already planning all the wonderful things I can make with it. :j
happy birthday :beer:Newbie here wanting to say hi  I love christmas but have to say its harder this year my 18 year old daughter is usually the one that helps with all the christmas decorations and movie watching, but a month ago she decided to move in with her dad 100 miles away. Wont stop me loving christmas but certainly not the same now I have no kids at home.

Finally I've caught up! Only managed to stamp 2 cards though
We were considering going to the Hyde Park Winter Wonderland this year but don't think we can really afford it. Definitely doing it next year. Last year we did Lincoln Christmas market.
Missed half of 1 because I was helping DH sort out under the stairs. Quite enjoying 2. There can be some really cheesy films on here at christmas time.
FOund two bottles of mulled wine under the stairs from last year :rotfl:0 -
I know this has nothing to do with Christmas,
But True Entertainment have shown so many clips of the film ' The Stanger Beside Me' they don't really need to show the film on Wednesday.:rotfl:0 -
Thanks that Harrods one is lovely, and I do love Disney, not so sure the DIL would though she usually has a set colour theme to her christmas decs.
I have done Lincoln christmas market before a few years ago now though, loved it but it was so busy.
I watched the nativity for the first time last night and though it was a lovely film.:xmassmilerecent wins-3 x anchor, a bag of skittles, 50 spud shillings, A tassimo mug :T0 -
