Welcome to all newbies (sorry can't remember all the names)
Pinksteps - Whilst this makes me sound like my teen daughter I was Lolling" at that pic. Naughty Santa.
OwnmyOwn - sorry you didn't get to do the xmas shopping but at least you are sorted with the movie marathon and chocs. I have dodged the films (which I am recording) and decided to have a "xmas bath" instead.
Just to clarify, that doesn't mean I only have a bath once a year, it means its when I remember to use all my 'Lush' stuff and pampering stuff I got last xmas, before I end up getting more this year :rotfl:BBTHREE I'll check the football fixture tomorrow and see if I can make that Saturday it would be so good to meet up:) and of course anybody else who could make it -think Lunar is local to us too.
Thinking about it where is Lunar? Scuttles of to check she if I've missed her!Aims for 2014

The Christmas films are getting better. I like this one the best so far.
Real feel good film:xmassign:0 -
Couple of bits & bobs.
Was thinking of the Winter Wonderland myself, if we got the tube in from Amersham it might be affordable. Cant be doing with Oxford Street, but fancy popping to Harrods bright & early to skip crowds. Hopefully we can afford it!
Dont know if its been mentioned before but I would recommend the Flint Street Nativity on dvd. Saw it on the stage a few years back with a different cast the the film but I loved it. Worth a watch I think.

Also to fans of the Great British Bake Off (my favourite show) I sent a tweet to Paul Hollywood requesting and xmas show & he actually replied & said there would be a special in December in which himself & Mary Berry will be baking their favourite xmas recipies. CANT WAIT!!!
In other news haha my bf got a new car today, which is nice & big. He said the boot is nice & big for all the xmas shopping he knows we'll be doing! Well trained is what I have there!0 -
Meant to add...
Nipped out this morning and got a tin of Roses (to stash for xmas) and a tin of Heroes (to give to local charity shop at xmas)
I bought some xmas bedsocks which are an exact match for DDs xmas eve PJs, so will add those to the xmas eve hamper, and found a Jacqueline Wilson book that DD hasn't got, as so although she is supposed to be 'done' I couldn't resist.
SugaJen - Sorry to hear about your Dad, thinking of you.
Chickywiggle - I saw the big Haribo tub in Tescos this morning, so yep, these mythical tubs DO exist..
Can't remember who asked about Refreshers but B&Ms this morning had a refreshers mug and refreshers, but better than that they had a giant plastic Refreshers tube which was huge. They also had the dame for Love Hearts, and they also had 'Time Capsules' (metal decorative tins full of retro sweets. I am fairly sure these were all a fiverAims for 2014

Just had a read through of the last couple of pages, I officially started my xmas shopping today! I love Christmas, its my fave time of the year
To the person looking for a personalized bauble, I have just ordered one of these for my niece, I love it!Im hoping it will become a tradition that she has her own special bauble and will put it on the tree herself every year. Its actually her second Christmas this year, so hoping she will understand a bit more and be gentle with it, although im sure her mummy will help her!

For those who have found the mythical haribo tin in Tesco - am I supposed to be looking in the normal sweetie/choc aisle or in the Christmas aisle? I looked in both today when I did my shopping and couldn't see them...
And also yay to the news about GBBO!0 -
Oooh that reminds me about the Mary Berry Christmas Cake packs. I bought about ten of the cupcake ones last year, my friends and family couldn't get enough of them! Hope they bring them out again this year!Slimming World Member - Started 05/02/150

Oh my days!!! Keep me away from the grabbit board. I've just bought a 3d tv. I think we will be living out the store cupboards for the foreseeable future.
It was half price ......... *whistles*
Hi,
I'm another lurker, I really enjoy this thread and am slowly catching up on the pages - thanks to you I've bought the Gooey Louie game, got my eye on the Monopoly, and have printed out the Snowman Soup recipe, and have bought the hot chocolate and mini marshmallows.
Now one thing I can't get the hang of is the grabbit board, is there a link??
Thanks in advance.0
