  • Hi everyone, I'm on the lookout for a retro reindeer jumper for myself. One that's a bit like the fairisle jumpers but with reindeers in the pattern. Had real trouble finding one last year. Found one in a retro shop but it was really expensive and despite dropping lots of hints to OH, I didn't end up with it. If anyone sees one, would appreciate the heads up. Thanks :) I'm a girl by the way.
  • I went to Winter Wonderland the year before last. It was fun! Lots of little wooden stalls. And the ferris wheel thing was HUGE. I was scared to death in there.

If you combine it with going to the Christmas departments of Harrods and Selfridges etc, it'd be a very Christmassy day.

Was just wondering if any of you have been here to the Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park ? Looks nice and wondering if its worth doing or not. Anyway gone on enough so bye for now :snow_laug

    Welcome tab1967,

We normally go there every year. (This year we are going to Bury St Edmunds Christmas Market, and I can't wait).

Sorry back to Winter Wonderland , it is lovely, but can get very busy.
We normally go in the afternoon after doing Oxford St and my favourite shop Fortnums and Mason. I LOVE THAT SHOP.(They have £500 crackers) (I don't buy them, just look.):D

I would maybe eat before you go there, the food is very expensive. (For what it is).
The stall are German themed, selling alot of german biscuits, sweets etc.

It is lovely, I think we have just outgrown it. But I would tell everybody who can get there ,should go at least once.

Thanks everyone, will have to work out finances and see if me and O/H can afford to go, not done the London shops since I was a kid and that was a long time ago...lol. So loving reading about how everyone is getting on with christmas shopping.
I have bought quite a few pressies but still lots to go.
I am about to become a Nanna next week, and am looking for a nice personalised bauble for the tree, have looked on ebay but dont really like any of them so if anyone knows where to get a nice one please let me know. Thanks xx

Oh god, 4 year olds are more mature than me.
I thought it wouldn't be scary since it was dark, but it made it worse!
