Chirpy chick - I don't bother doing anything special for the cats at Christmas, I used to but they don't eat treats really. They do enjoy playing with wrapping paper and boxes (like kids)

I always buy mum's dog a pressie, and wrap it up so he can tear off the paper, he loves doing that. He has his own turkey dinner too - a bit of what we're having diced up with gravy.

Sorry to hear about the mice. We have one cat we're convinced won't be with us at Christmas but then we've been saying that for 4 years and the old lad plods on.
  • sorry about your mice ChirpyChick :(

our cats are wierd - Ive offered them a little shrimp and a sliver of smoked salmon on Christmas day and they turn up their noses and won't eat it! last year I bought a tin of tuna for Christmas Day and they wouldn't eat that either! if it doesn't say 'Felix' on the tin they don't want it!

I bought them the play balls with the fake fur fabric and the feathers on for 1p in Tesco last week  I buy them a little tub of Whiskas Temptations as they do like those,

My3Girls - glad you got the Rudolphopoly!! how did they mail it? is it a ParcelForce sort of size or normal post? just so I know who to keep eye out for!

What is the Rudolph Monopoly like??? can't wait!

Today has been a very productive christmassy day :j

I booked tickets to go to lapland UK in December. Its very pricey, but we will only do it once and it looks absolutely magical. DD is 6 so will really really love it. I'm bursting to tell her, but will wait nicely until father christmas writes to her and invites her to help him... :o

I also have started sorting christmas crafts out. I am going to try and sell some bits this year at local fayres etc. I've borrowed my mums sewing machine and got started with some things today. I will hopefully have some photos to post next week as I do need to buy some things. I was just practicing with the fabric and cotton I have at the moment.

Its starting to feel a bit more like Christmas is coming what with the colder weather and darker nights now.
 Married my lobster in July 2011

TTC # 2 since Oct 2011 - good things come to those who wait :o

 2013 is going to be our lucky year

Just returned from Costco - lots of Christmas stuff there but I only bought a set of 7 pillar "candles" which take batteries and can be controlled by remote.

They look great and I can't wait to put them on my window ledge when Christmas comes. So welcoming.

With VAT, £24, not too bad when you consider what candles cost.
