Also I was going to get my stepdad Levi jeans but the only cheap ones you can get are too small (£30 budget) and also I dont want to chance the size being wrong as it usually is so need to think of something else...Ive exhausted all other ideas lol done his favourite aftershaves, sweets, beer, car wash bucket (when he had a car!) socks, clothes/shoes, home made stuff, various Arsenal things, various personalised things like mugs/pens/keyrings, a travel mug, I *think* hes already done the stadium tour. (will ask) Some brain racking going on!!'They only had one cow!'0

I have no idea on price but isn't there a place you can "buy a share" of your favourite football team?
I find men really hard to buy for!
Does he like the marvel films? you could get the box set?
A jumper (both my hubby, dad and grandad are always pleased when they get jumpers and socks and my hubby when he gets hankies too - for years i thought they were having me on but it basically comes down to the fact that men are practical and if it saves them money in the long run then its a bonus!)
My FIL & BIL are the only men I know who like to read but if your SD likes to read you could do a book worm hamper.
My FIL also likes gardening - so you could do a gardening hamper if he likes that.
My Dad is the kind of man who has everything, if he wants it he buys it but he always asks for rum and raisin fudge, he also loves good tea, coffee and cake.
This year most people are getting a photo in a frame of our babycheap and sentimental

Was in boots today and they were stocking the shelfs with the 3for2 gifts!! I was so so excited lol there were lots and lots of lovely things :-)
Did ask about the catalogue though but the woman didn't seem too clued up and thought it would be the first week in oct.

BBTHREE-Aw least he had a brilliant birthday.
Hehe you def done well with your 15 min shop, my phone is too ancient/expensive to go online properly but OHs is far more modern lol so may do an update when we go shopping as I always forget stuff Ive seen.
chirpychick-Thanks for the ideas.I just looked and apparently shares are £14,000 or £140 in a fanshare lol. I find men tough too, my brothers arent too bad but BILS, FIL, stepdad and uncle are tricky! My stepdad doesnt watch films, any CDs never get listened to, he doesnt read except sometimes things like Ross Kemp books (non-fiction ones, not novels) but think Ive got him all of them in previous years, certainly no gardening or DIY hehe. Ive never seen him wear a jumper in 19 years but socks are good! This is so true lol>

Baby pics are always a nice gift.
doodygirl-It should be advertised very soon but I think it is actually already in the systems as when I bought 3 reduced dr who pens the other day I got 3 for 2 xmas multisave or something like that.
Tomorrow its OHs day off so we're going to clear out the big cupboard and hopefully Ill have lots of lovely shelves/boxes spare for my Christmas stuff. Will post a pic if we get it done!

Sorry me again lol (I just get worse the nearer christmas gets! :rotfl:) Thought all the expectant mummies on here might be interested in the gorgeous gift I came across the other day on ebay. Its a personalised photo keyring that you can get your scan picture engraved onto! I dont think I can post a link but the seller is called temptingquality. Im getting my MIL the photo necklace but they have all sorts of lovely gifts. The baby scan keyrings are gorgeous though! I shouldnt have looked again as they also do fingerprint keyrings etc and a handprint one that I LOVE...Must stop looking!
P.S No I am not affiliated in any way with them lol.'They only had one cow!'0 -

:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:
LOL maybe not then!!
My husband uses Nivea face scrub but refuses to buy it for himself so I got some on offer in Boots for his Christmas as well as Nivea shower gel (we usually use value) and deodorant and now his mother has informed me she is buying him some for his birthday (october) and i am really gutted because she spends a fortune on him and i dont have a big budget so now the presents ive got him and going to be like "oh ive already got this" instead of "wow how thoughtful she remembered i like this" I am really ridiculously upset about it - hormones maybe!
But she does this quite often, Ill buy him Asda £5 jeans, she buys him posh ones for £35 and 2 pairs!
I said once did she want to go halves with me on a sat nav and she says "oh no ill get him that dont worry"
Don't get me wrong, I love her and she does so much for us financially and i appreciate all of that but it is really frustrating when you have gone to so much effort to find a nice gift within budget.
I know he really would like a mobile phone that he can access emails on and I wish now that I had brought him one of those instead.
But there are still a few due to ask what he wants so im going to see if this is something he can get money towards instead.
Does anyone have any recommendations of one under the £100 mark? (closer to the £50!) I think he would like something touch screen that looks quite modern but isn't big on technology so would need to be fairy simple to use. (has to be pay&go).Everything is always better after a cup of tea0 -
Argh just let 4 and 3 old loose on the argos catalogue! Everything they liked is 20 quid + each! Will be writing a list later and then surfing to find cheaoest prices! Hopefully somd will turn up at sainsburys hpts and in Tesco voucher exchange! Can but hope! X0

chirpychick-
Aw no thats a shame, its understandable that you are upset. *hugs* He will probably be all out of the stuff his mum buys him by christmas and yours will very handy indeed.Im sure he will see just how thoughtful the gifts are too, you come across as really thoughtful and caring. xxx My MIL sounds the same as yours, a huge help in lots of ways but a few times shes bought DS something I really wanted to get him and it is frustrating. Sorry I know nothing about mobile phones but sounds like a fab gift.
Crowdpleaser-I have not dared let my DS near the Argos catalogue yet. :rotfl:'They only had one cow!'0
