Generally if the customs value is less than the cost of trying to get the duty out of you they don't bother chasing it :)

LittleMsChatabox - Really sorry to hear about your boyfriend, and I hope things pick up for you both.

For those doing baking hampers : -

Cancer Research shops have in a very cute pink and white spotty recipe folder. At £8 its not the cheapest but obviously is raising funds for a good cause. They also had pink and white spotty cupcake cases.

As mentioned previously Home Bargains (and also B&Ms) have the birghtly coloured spatulas etc, but they also have cupcake boxes, and flat packed cardboard cupcake stands.

Poundworld has the 4 in 1 cake shaker things (hundreds and thousands, edible glitter etc)

TK Maxx had in (not sure if they still do) a lot of cheap Tala stuff.

    Hope that helps xx

Meant to add... I said earlier in the thread that if I said I had bought DS anything else for xmas to give me a virtual slap/rollicking.

Well that no longer applies, Whilst I am on strong tablets and not quite with it I left DH in charge of wrapping DS birthday pressies.

So... Instead of giving him the intended 3 presents (PS3 Vita and 2 games) he gave these plus 3 other presents which were intended for Xmas before I could stop him. :(

DS has no idea and there's no way I would take stuff back off him, so it just means I have a few more stocking fillers to get for xmas. Hubby is well any truly in the doghouse though.

i have always been late; 13, 7 and 3 days so far!
I said that with my 4th, and we were actually moving about 5 days after his due date, so it was all good .... That Christmas was the first time ever we had really bad blizzards and snow. The little monkey decided to make an appearance in the middle of all that and 3 days early! So best of luck!

Anyway, I de-lurked because that made me chuckle! I'm Jennie, Mum to 4 gorgeous and spoilt children! I am so looking forward to Christmas! My hubby is currently away on tour in Afghanistan and is due back in November so have lots to look forward to, including some festive shopping! He booked for us to all go to Butlins over Christmas as well, so hopefully that will be awesome!

There have been some really amazing ideas on here, and am looking forward to making my first hampers for our parents and Sil and nieces.. But that's all we have to buy for, except our kids and each other!
