    Snugglebunny8-I *think* you can go into an amazon order and change your payment details (so you can add the voucher)if it still hasnt been dispatched so you may be able to do that instead of cancelling then re-ordering. :)

    kayandy-Im glad your boyfriends mum is doing well. :) Would she like something you can do together like tickets to see something or somewhere relaxing?

    sugaJen-The baking hamper sounds brilliant! Im doing my niece one too but more of an amateur/easy one as shes only 7 and her mum has just had a baby so dont want to make it too complicated. Wilkinson has loads of lovely baking bits, I have my eye on a lovely lilac silicone whisk. :D Also a few weeks ago in Sainsburys I got a Tala brand christmas cookie cutter set in a lovely tin. Its actually this one http://www.amazon.co.uk/Tala-Retro-Christmas-Cookie-Cutter/dp/B004W75Y58 I got it for £3 and thought i got a huge bargain doh lol! It was priced up at something silly but scanned at £3! Its quite a big tin too. I love the Tala range, gorgeous packaging. :) Also what about some cake tins to store her baked goodies? I see reduced ones all the time in Asda etc. :)

    Just reserved some stuff at Argos that Ive had my eye on for AGES, most of it is cheaper now which is a bonus! Will have to keep reserving until Friday. (payday!) I am a bit :eek: at how much DS has already and I am supposed to be cutting down! I have downsized his presents over the past few years but I always buy too much, I will have to sort through and save some for his birthday in April. :o

  • Ok two dilemmas :rotfl:;

    - Is the nightmare before christmas more halloween or christmas? Me nor dd have seen it before and wondered if it was getting for halloween in half term?

    - Disney's Pinocchio & Dumbo are both what dd wants for xmas should I just buy them now whilst I know I can get them both or risk waiting until the next Disney bogof and hope they're in it!?

    I'd say Nightmare Before Christmas is more Halloweeny personally.

    I've never been charged customs, but I normally only buy small packages at once :)

    I have been wondering this too as want to order two items on e bay and worried about custom charges. One order is for 7 quid and the other 6 quid. I ordered some piping bags once and did not realise they were from America but never got charged more than the original PayPal payment I made, so I think it may be okay,

    The nightmare before Christmas is one of my kids ultimate favourites, we love it and they have the nightmare before Christmas decorations from the Disney store and they put them on their little Christmas tree that they put in their room,

    I was wondering about the thread that is normally on here that people post on to find certain presents at bargin prices, everyone chips in to help others find certain toys etc, hope that makes sense, have tried to find it but can't remember what it was called. Thanks in advance x

    The customs limit is £15, it's free under that. Mind you I bought 2 items from Amazon US recently both well over the limit, and didn't get charged. That was a first.
  • was going to say same, Ive bought stuff from Disney in the USA that came to about £15 equivelent, there is customs form on outside with the value but I wasn't charged anything more on delivery - Ive also ordered candles and a book recently under that value and been fine :)

    Littlemschattabox, I hope yr BF is ok! that must have been so scary!
