princesskitty29-Have a great time on holiday.
Possession -I love snow if I dont have to go anywhere! Also only like it when its fresh and crunchy, not when it goes dangerously icy or yukky and slushy. We drive to my mums (30 mins) and MILS (10 mins) on christmas day so if it snowed a lot it would really mess up our day!
Hi to all newbies.
I dont mind Halloween, I dont like taking DS trick or treating purely because I find it really embarassing. But usually end up co-erced into it! We live in flats so never get any trick or treaters but my mum gets quite a few barring a few quiet years! We will be away for halloween this year so will hopefully find something good to do.
Ive noticed the pound shops have some amazing decorations in this year!! We will also be away for the sainsburys half price toy sale eek so will have to see which Sainsburys in the area are best!

I went into tesco today and they had a whole isle with the Xmas chocs on selection boxes etc all on offer although I must admit I didn't buy any!! They also had a few gift sets at the back on 3 for 2 but i prefer boota for them!! No toys on sale either just a pound off here and there!! Also went into asda but they didn't have anything except the tins of chocs!! It's freezing here && poring down so I have a hot choc and my cover as boyfriend won't let me put the heating on!! && am watching the nightmare
Before Xmas as I love it!!! I really need to start properly with my Xmas stuff!!0 -
kayandy I love nightmare before Christmas, I even know some of the songs.
Our tesco has a Christmas chocolate aisle, since I have already bought a load I had to force myself to walk by it yesterday and not buy anything. . So hard!13 projects in 2013 0/130 -

hello all, well I popped to the shops today and there's still not a lot out near us! I went into card factory spotting the christmas cards and thought I'd grab one for my parents at least whilst I was there...but they were in the middle of displaying them and said they weren't for sale! I was gutted as I thought I'd have another thing ticked off my list!
oh well, I popped into superdrug too and picked up a gosh eye make up set for just £1.99 and an i love... toiletries set thing with a shower/bath creme, body lotion and lip gloss for £1.99 too so I've set these aside for christmas and I think I know which friend will get themso glad to be getting somewhere a bit more finally!!
loving reading all your posts! *hugs* to those who need them right now x0 -
Oo forgot to say before my boyfriends mum is now home a week early from having her leg removed she is doing really well too walking about on her crutches etc the doctors are really pleased and she might have her fake leg as she calls it by Xmas which is good news!! Just have no idea what to get her for Xmas was going to make her a sweet hamper and get her some nice pjs and some other bits but she has enough sweets till last till next Xmas and enough pjs to last her about 5 years so now I'm stuck might just see what she says she needs and get her that!!
On another note since it was my last day at work on Friday on my next payday I get my holidays and stuff put into it do I think I'm
Going to do a studio order && pay for it in full as there are a few things I want from them for various gifts!! I really need to start buying gifts now!! Also in my pound land they had small plastic laundry baskets in different colours so think I might get them for my hampers are they will be big enough for what I want and reusable also only a pound haha!! I picked up some bubble bath for my hampers today from tesco a pound each and also got some small yanki candles from eBay to go into them and personalised eye masks for them just waiting for them to be delivered!!0 -
oh wow I have stumbled on my kind of thread! I know what I will be busy reading for the next few months!
One thing I really want this year is a Nativity scene. My parents always got theirs out every year and I've yet to find one that isnt to costly and looks nice. If anyone knows of anything please let me know.
I have bought a few presents for my two girls as money is tight I have to spread it out, I usually start in the Summer.
Will be reading this thread for ideas with interest. :beer:0
