  • Ok, own up - who started my cravings for kit kats :P

I can think of worse things........ one of my friends it was soap and another was house bricks! :rotfl:

[Also, going to make everyone a chocolate sleigh but my question is won't the chocolate melt if hot glue is attached? Probably make some reindeer noses and wrapped chocolate bars too for the OH as a little extra. (Who's ever blog that is I can't remember sorry, you've inspired me!).]

i know others have said it but yes - use sticky dots, sticky foam pads/ double sided sticky tape.

Chickywiggle-I hope you feel better after doing some christmassy things, I can relate to useless schools, HMRC and skintness! xxx.

I doo. and I picked up my nativity DVD (it never fails to amaze me how useless my staff in A5da when I go to collect a direct order. Is it too early to watch it tonight (after Masterchef Australia?)

Cherry, does your Nan have a favourite scent? Did she have a favourite scented flower? Maybe a pot pourri pillow with that in?Smell evokes memories sometimes and even if it doesn't its a nice thing that she won't tire of. I'm sure that the other wonderful ladies will have many suggestions :)

    This is a great idea.
Also (sorry I forgot to quote it) the person who suggested the microwave ones. me and my littlies (and most of my family) have various animal ones . can't find the website they orginally came from but these are the sort of thing.
loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:

Hello, has anyone found some good Christmassy blogs? Not just with things to make, but just generally Christmassy feeling? I love the American country feel. I've searched but I find blogs hard to find unless I come across it through someone else. X

For the baby what about buying a money box? I do also like your blanket idea. A highchair toy? I can't think of anything else :rotfl:

For your sister could you make her a girlie night hamper? a couple of chick flicks, popcorn, drink, facemask, nail file, body butter that kind of thing?
Everything is always better after a cup of tea

impossible as you can only order 4 free items only 1 of each after that it automatically charges for other items and the cheapest postage is £6.30 ,so even accounting for quidco you would be paying £1-30

I did 2 orders, one after the other one p&p was £5 something and one was £4 something:)

Love the Christmas cupboard, very envious I have to say! Think this has inspired me to clear out the back cupboard/hall and have this as a christmas room - I can tell you now that no way will it be as near organised lol.

That masks a bit freaky tho lol!

    Look what I found today.......

I have also decided to make my stockings so going to make a start at the end of this week, I want them rather vintage so will be making them out I burlap and trim with organza and silk ribbon and cute little wooden buttons :-)

I was also thinking of giving my brother and his other half one filled with goodies for their Xmas presents this year, and presented in a nice box what do you think?
