I also bought 2 things for my DS which was bad of me as he is supposed to be "done" so if you see me post on here that I have bought him anything else (other than Black Ops2) then please feel free to give me a virtual rollicking/slap.
Just a heads up about black ops 2.. you can preorder from tesco for £34.33 with the code: 20TESCOGAMES0 -

They also had about 1/4 of an aisle for Halloween too. We only had £5 each to spend so I didn't get any of that but they had LED spiders and ghosts and I am DEFINITELY going back after payday to get 1 each of those as I am doing a mini Halloween Hamper for hubby. They had some costumes (but personally I thought they really did look cheap and wouldn't last 2 minutes - ok for 2 minutes round the block on a small child that wont ever wear it again kind of thing or if money is very tight). They also had eyeballs and body part jelly's at the till. They had some felt black trick or treat bags and a few other bits but not much.1,2 & 5p: Christmas day food £9.31
10 & 20p: misc savings £2.70
50p: Christmas presents £3.50
£2: holidays £2.000 -

My christmas list has changed slightly thanks to all the suggestions here:
Mum: An old board game from ebay in which she wanted, + something else.
Dad: Unsure
B1: Jumper
SIL: oyster card holder + something little
B2: scratch travel map
B3: clothes/something drum related
BF: We set a £30 limit with each other so might do a hamper.
OH: a ps3 game (buying him a ps3 for his birthday), how i met your mother dvd, hulk headphones as he's really into the avengers and hulk is his favourite character. (can't really afford too much as his birthday is only a month before)
OH's family: going to send him mum some flowers in the post and something to eat down with him for his younger brothers and stepdad.
Nan: Take her for a day out.
Also, going to make everyone a chocolate sleigh but my question is won't the chocolate melt if hot glue is attached? Probably make some reindeer noses and wrapped chocolate bars too for the OH as a little extra. (Who's ever blog that is I can't remember sorry, you've inspired me!).
I'm trying not to plan too much as going to the Cologne christmas markets on Dec 7th! Excited already!
only 108days left till christmas!0 -
I'm making my husband a little punk hamper now as well. Won a few ebay items, badge, postcard, book, cd.
Need to have a think of what else to get... a t shirt maybe.
In all these years I have never figured out the right things to buy him, he's so difficult to buy for.
whoohoo for 108 days!1,2 & 5p: Christmas day food £9.31

I've just ordered a cup, pen, t shirt 2 lots of 1st birthday invitations, thank you cards, 25 thank you magnets and a happy birthday banner all for free with less than £10 p&p:money:
impossible as you can only order 4 free items only 1 of each after that it automatically charges for other items and the cheapest postage is £6.30 ,so even accounting for quidco you would be paying £1-30This is a system account and does not represent a real person. was wondering if it would work to leave the cellophane wrap on the candy canes and use normal superglue to glue them to the underside of the KitKat wrapper, if it's a tiny bit loose due to the wrapper could then secure it with a small amount of red Christmnas ribbon tied both ways across the KitKat and secured underneath - as wouldnt be noticable against the red KK wrap perhaps?0

What we did for Christmas last year was searched for the cinema local to them and purchased them the cinema gift card and had it delivered to their door which worked out much cheaper than sorting postage from here. Just an idea that you could look into, they are in Perth too.
Edited to add you can get vouchers for Perth zoo etc too so could get quite a selection of family days together for them xx
Thanks for the great ideas, had never thought about vouchers before, although I would worry that I may get the wrong thing as my friend is a native of Perth. :TMarilynMonroe wrote: »I'm making my husband a little punk hamper now as well. Won a few ebay items, badge, postcard, book, cd.
