Nanamia, a good Christmas project would be trying to find good lightweight pressies that won't need an extra mortgage to send to Oz in the post!
One of my best friends lives in Perth and it is always a challenge to find things for her children. Small books and tshirts seem to be favourites with both of us.
Couldn't you find something on Amazon australia (I'm assuming they have one). order it. and get it gift wrapped delivered to their house?? I've done that before in the UK when I've been late ordering pressies (or have bought ungiftwrapped and warned their mum it is coming and she's wrapped it when it go there.
this is FAB.
I'm reallllly pleased. have found 2 of the items i wanted for christmas on ebay this morning (shear coincidence i happened to look and they eneded today). And I won. so instead of paying £17 each I got the 2 for just less then £3 still new with tags + about £6 postage. so cheaper then just buying the 1. :money::money:loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:0 -
I wish they made that dressing gown in adult sizes.

Has anybody seen Cadbury dairy milk miniatures, think that was their name. Bents had individual chocolates with letters on to make names or wishes, some in Beatrix Potter papers etc I though I could "pay homage" and borrow the idea with those miniatures if I could find them. Any ideas?

love the red gifts!
was thinking I might do the candy cane sleighs for the Christmas dinner table? put one on each place setting thought maybe a little net of gold choccy coins would look good too - and either a little Lindt or Milky Bar reindeer to pull each one

Good idea snugglebunny! I might just do that myself too. I think I will wrap the individual bars in wrapping paper too - for extra Christmas 'ness'.0

Oooo! Me too, thank you snugglebunny8. I love the idea of using them as place settings. It would be lovely to see pics of how we all get on later in the season.
fatblackandwhite : thank you, DS3 got a Cadbury's 'machine' last year (like I had when I was little) and these are just what I need for refills.
