Might be worth waiting?
I just wanted to say after looking at this link, that the giant gingerbread boy/girl that are quite highly priced on there, if anyone is interested in something similar around xmas , Greggs sell their own giant version for £1.50. It's lovely, and looks brilliant in a hamper.
Also, just a question about the bin bags, If they did go down in price like last year, isn't the 19th a bit late to be ordering things? I wouldn't think they'd arrive in time for xmas, but i may be wrong?Having a coke with youis even more fun than going to San Sebastian, Irun, Hendaye, Biarritz, Bayonne
or being sick to my stomach on the Travesera de Gracia in Barcelona0 -

Probably wont be telling the husband how much they cost though!!

I found them slightly cheaper on play.com, free delivery too http://www.play.com/Gadgets/Gadgets/4-/11535894/0/Happy-Sack-Christmas-Pudding-Bin-Bags/ListingDetails.html
ETA: Ebay also sell these bags, but in smaller quantities and some are bid on and not buy outright.0 -

It's not exactly detailed yet, but still kind of exciting (to weirdos like me anyway).:rudolf: :rudolf: :rudolf: :rudolf: :rudolf:0 -
Do not know if it's already been posted but Morrisons Sept/Oct mag has a Countdown to Christmas Baking Special.
Apologies if it's already been posted0 -

I also meant to say that I have never seen "Nativity".
If its the one I think I saw advertised a while back, it has Martin Freeman in it. Am I on the right lines? Is it a comedy and should I order it?
I know "IMDB" could help right now and I am not trying to be lazy, but on anything xmas related I would rather seek the opinion of the xmas gurus on here
It's fab!I love it, it's partly improvised and the kids are awesome, especially little Bob
You can watch it on youtube if you don't want to buy it - for £1.49 - http://www.youtube.com/movie?v=3NoeMbPTkIc&feature=mv_sr
And the trailers and things are also on youtube if you want a hint
I can tell you you will likely be singing Sparkle And Shine for pretty much forever nowPrincess Sparklepants0 -
Never seen nativity either, looks good thanks!
I'm sitting here with the opposite of my usual predicament, I actually have money for once and I don't know what to buy!! Would love to get a start on my shopping but just haven't a clue what to get!
Bad news is I've found out I need an operation on my spine so really keeping everything crossed that they wait until the new year and it doesn't scunner my Xmas!

We went on a coach trip last year, so ended up at the market the last weekend in November. It was lovely, quite spread out with little groups of stall scattered around the streets, so you weren't stuck with hundreds of others all in the one street. It's got more local crafts than the market I'm used to (the German one in Birmingham) and local foods, as well as decorations and cards. Plenty of choice, and as it's interspersed with all the different little shops in Bath, I would recommend a visit.
I'm so used to reading all you lovely people getting ready for Christmas, I forgot myself today. I went into work and happily announced that the Christmas aisle was out in Morrisons expecting people to be pleased! Apparently it "spoils the magic" having stuff out this early. Some people just don't understand
Another film I've seen that's out in November this year is Rise of the Guardians. When I first saw it advertised it had a big picture of Father Christmas on it, but apparently it's based on some children's books and has lots of fictional characters in like the Easter bunny and the Man in the moon. So now I'm not sure how Christmassy it is!Hobnobs are like marines0
