Buy it, Buy it, Buy it! Its amazing, and my DH (who leaves all 99% of Christmas planning to me) is never impressed by anything but couldn't wait to order that. Your DS will love it. My son will be 9 at xmas and right at this moment I am more excited about giving him that boxset than his main pressie (Ipad2).

LOL I think I was doing it while you were writing this! Actually I'd preordered the blu-ray which was £16 so have switched to the DVD for the boxed set, cancelled the blu-ray and it's only £10 more. DS won't be bothered if it isn't blu-ray and makes it more affordable.

Hoping fellow christmas loons will be able to help me. I am planning to cover the door frame with wrapping paper after santa has been on Christmas eve so that the boys would have to break in. I want to get some tape to put across saying santa at work keep out or something similar. has anyone seen anything similar, i can only find a halloween version so far.

They also have this which looks good

    http://item.mobileweb.ebay.co.uk/viewitem?itemId=180413431843

I love how organised you all are, wish I was!! Just too skint to get anything just now :-(

I did get this wee set for my mums garden hamper

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B0050AQROI/ref=mp_s_a_7?pi=75x47&qid=1346082864&sr=8-7

And used a £5 voucher so it was even cheaper!

Postie pulled a fly one on saturday and posted a delivery card for my elf without chapping the door so I have to collect him tomorrow at the sorting office.

I'm on the lookout this year for special personalised stockings, I've seen some beautiful vintage linen ones but at £30 each it's out of my budget - I could try and make them but worried I wont finish them all!

    s'ok eljaycock.

they're a bit boring my3girls but i think i'm gonna get these stockings (tho possibly not from this seller) as I had one like that for my childhood.

Sacks i'm undecided there are soooo many nice ones.
just spotted these which i love.

but also like the idea of a brown hessian sack so it looks like its just fallen off the sleigh...........

If anyone after some nice stationary sort of bits for stocking fillers or hampers, Sainsburys have a lot of nice back to school stuff 70% off, there's some younger kids stuff, also big box of 30 JS Gel Pens reduced to 3.99 (including sparkly, great for girls) and also saw some Moshi Monsters bits - sticker packs I think, said 70% off but couldn't see SEL, worth a nosey - stocked up both kids on school stuff and got a lot heavily reduced :)

I'd really like to get the Olympics DVD set for whole family for Christmas, as we caught some of it on tv in the US but also missed quite a lot; it's 19.99 to pre order on Amazon, have £10 voucher and building up another on surveys, if anyone happens to see it anywhere cheaper would you mind letting me know please? many thanks!

I do like the idea of the hessian sacks - my DS has a red velvet santa sack with white fake fur and pompom drawstring he hads when he was a baby - I have pics of him in it and his little feet sticking out when he was small - it looks a bit like the big one on the sleigh in Polar Express! I'm pretty sure we got it in Debenhams, may be worth a looksee there on their website? also some nice stockings in the Disney Store, usually from end of September, sometimes ebay and Amazon have them too.

DD has a santa sack my mum made for her as a baby which is all embroidered - they have sack races in the living room on Christmas Eve!
