Hiya,
Popped into Home bargains and they had some packets of freeze dried Christmas Coffee (think it was taylors of harrogate) £1.99 with a feb 2013 date on. Popped it in our Christmas cupboard to have over the festive season.
Off to have a look around B&Ms this week to find a few more things for our christmas cupboard. Definately being prepared this year as last year it flew over.
xPPI Claims won £3000:j now free of all credit card debt after 10 years.
Will I win my Lloyds battle!!!
Currently saving for our wedding and what seems like a million other things":)0 -

Hello all
Just catching up on the past few posts, You all seem like you're doing fantastic with christmas already, I'm going to have to take stock of the xmas cupboard when ds goes back to school because i feel like im no where near as organized as the rest of you lol!
I've just ordered one of the Harrods bears off the grabbit board for ds' xmas even hamper that the elf leaves him on xmas eve morning if he has been good since dec 1st, before he goes back to the north pole until december 1st next year
I don't know if anyone else has done it or noticed if they've ordered one, but it gives you the option to write a gift card for free before you checkout so i've written one to ds from the elf wishing him a merry xmas and thanking him for behaving during his visit.
I think it makes the bear that little bit more special if it comes with a personal message on a gift card and for free i think it's great!
I was in B&M today as well and i think they're starting to get xmas stock in, it made me a bit excited! They've started putting the little alcohol gift sets etc out that you always see at christmas.Having a coke with youis even more fun than going to San Sebastian, Irun, Hendaye, Biarritz, Bayonne
or being sick to my stomach on the Travesera de Gracia in Barcelona0 -

linky...... never seen any down there..... Harlow is only one so far. At least you are getting home bargains now
and if you've not been in a home bargains then they are kinda abit like swag shops before they became over priced (if you had one of those - colchester do)loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:0 -
Hi All
I have been on hols and so haven't posted for a while.
Whilst away I bought a Dynamo Magician Impossible dvd (for brother), a Set of Super Mario figures (for DS), new Jacqueline Wilson book (for DD).
I also bought the best presents of all 2 x xmas bauble in presentation box which are pink and white with "birthday girl" on them. Both my neice and good friend have a birthday on 22nd Dec and both moan that there's nothing they can put on the tree to signify their birthday, but now there is.
I also decided that DS is no longer getting a dvd hamper (and I wll just wrap up the dvds I have bought for it) and instead is getting a Marvel Heroes hamper, as I managed to find a shop with various Avengers/Marvel sweets and chocolates. I have already bought an Iron Man torch and an Avengers goody bag which can go in it and I will be purchasing Avengers Assemble as soon as its out. If I see a good offer I might add in Iron Man 1 and 2 as he loves those.
My DDs beauty/girly hamper is done. Not yet assembled but I have all I need for it as I have bought her a lot from Claires etc, but have also remembered that I have got GWP that I got with Boots No7, Boots 17, and Max Factor, so I will add all the cosmetics from those too.
Apart from DD and DSs main present (which hubby is sorting) their presents are now done.
For xmas eve hamper I just need to get DS Pjs (hanging on to see what Marvel ones are around nearer xmas), Arthur Christmas dvd (not out yet) and a build a gingerbread house kit (will get fresh from Tesco or M&S just before xmas) so there's nothing more I can do now.
I am quite pleased because apart from adults and DH (where I have no clue at all), I am almost done.
:TAims for 2014
Drink a glass of water a day, Empty handbag at least once a week, Continue "not putting things off" and tackle things head on, Treasure people around me, Stay healthy and well away from hospitals, Continue to declutter/decorate house slowly and not get stressed because I can't do everything at once.0 -
BBTHREE - I don't really follow Marvel/ avengers so not sure on characters but (this is turning into the B&M thread) - B&M have lots of character PJ's with trouser type bottoms (sadly only firman sam in the shorts not trouser bottom at the moment
). Also (if you have one) TJ Hughes had some in too.

Pft more posts that make me wish I had either B&M or Home Bargains closer! I started getting some of my non perishables/frozen with my food shopping yesterday (2 x tins of chocs, stuffing and cocktail sausages for bacon wrapped sausages) so I can get it gradually over the next few weeks and not really notice the increased bill so much.
Also gonna do an online Tesco clothing order for some bits for friends using Clubcard exchange (that's on my list of jobs for tomorrow) so that'll be free (with delivery to store).
For those of you that have The Range anywhere close - I popped in yesterday and asked a slightly shocked till assistant when the Christmas stuff would be arriving and she thought it was in about 2 weeks time - I love looking at all the pretty decorations0 -

we might have home bargains and B&M but we don't have an IKEA or The Range (at least not without lengthy train journeys)loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:0
