I only have 2 trays you see and it says to leave in the trays, therefore I am wondering if I should get some little foil cases and freeze them in those, would take up less room in the freezer then too? Also could I do the same with apple pies? (hubby doesnt like mince pies)
Once there cooked and cooled, I freeze mine, I have a celebrations tub which i use, as well as old icecream containers.
Ditto to apple pies.

just been to a local garden center and they have a load of Christmas cards and wrap for sale , dd saw a handbag she loved so once school is back i will go and get her it.
Ive got a few things selling well on eBay so i will use that money to do a bit more shopping.
does anyone else find the christmas prep more exciting than the day itself ? my day usuall starts early dd gets us up early then we open presents have a cup of tea , then dd goes back to bed [asd + doesn't really do excitement] , the last 3 Christmases in a row she has had a huge seizure at some point during the day, its almost become a tradition lolThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. I love the prep too, its the whole season i love, all the build up im love this time, spotting odd things arriving in the shops.
Poor DD having seizures, does she get them often?
I have just found out that there will be 8 of us at mine on christmas day, 4 of us, my parents and my brother and his wife, so lots of prep to do! I tried to convince DH's parents to come too but they say England is too cold in december, they are Indian, so will come sept to nov instead. It does mean we will have a practice Christmas in November though!DFW NERD NO.656 DEBT FREE 24TH NOVEMBER 2010 TOTAL DEBT AUGUST 2007 £39000MFiT T2 NO.56 WE OWN [STRIKE]25%[/STRIKE] 31.5% OF OUR HOUSE SO FAR!0 -

Hello all, just checking in again. I have just spent a lovely hour catching up on this thread as I've been in hospital for the last 10 days so haven't had any decent internet access.
I now have bags of time at home to recouperate with the new laptop that DH bought for me. I need to get my Christmas head back on and get more sorted as not sure yet what the next few months holds for me health wise.
If I can get ahead it will make me feel better- it's good to know that you guys are here.DH is a bit worried about all the time I have to browse for bargains and shop online now though!

RE: SWEET TINS
Our local Home Bargains have small buckets (think they originally appeared at Easter) with mallows in them reduced to 49p. Mallows are out of date but you could put other items in instead.
They are the size of a bucket for the beach, slightly smaller maybe, and made of tin. Only see Cars and Tinkerbell though so would depend on age of your niece and nephew..;)I HAVE NOTHING TO SAY;)0 -
When I did retro sweets last year I put them into the 99p large Kilner jars from Ikea and they looked cute with a bow tied around the top.Debt at LBM [strike]£17,544[/strike] £5700:TOver £14,000 PAID OFF :T
