OMO - Ar you going to be okay? That sounds terrible!
Chicky, I am sending you huge kisses! Will try and make it over tomorrow to check them out - I may be able to buy a few and dye them (I live in hope)
Tomorrow is the great British bake off in my kitchen - my lovely cousin bought me an awesome girly 1950s apron today so am going to really enjoy wearing thatWill hopefully put on some Christmas tunes too.
Well made the grand total of £15 at todays fete. Initially I was almost in tears (only sold items in the last two minutes), but after a lovely couple told me how I wouldn't benefit from a small fete like this, and that I needed to do an actual craft fair I cheered upI was sandwhiched between a lady second hand clothes for £1 and a gent selling books for 25p - It made my prices look huuuuuuge! I was tempted to drop my prices, but then realised it would be pointless - my items sell for more online and so they must be worth it.
In-case you are interested, there are some photo's on my blog;

your makes look lovely, so sorry it wasnt a sucess, but your right not to lower prices, people just want everything for nothing these days! I would much rather pay a couple of £ for a nice, homemade, personal gift, than on a second hand jumper anyday!!It's not about getting what you want, It's about wanting what you get.0 -
OMG dd2 has just announced she does not like one direction any more - arrrgggghhhh.
Timing is bad.. I should have known she did this with peppa pig two Xmas back!!Don’t put it down - put it away!

I did a joint one for all staff as I think behind the scene peps get missed. I did a hamper of sweets and biccies in a decorated box. A lot of staff made a point of thanking girls... It was quite touching and I'd just raided home bargains so not mega expensiveDon’t put it down - put it away!

At work [S*perdr*g] have some nice bits in work now for around the £2 mark, including lovely big mugs [in a 'soft and snuggle' range and a 'leafy and lovely' range]. Having completed my teaching placements, I know just how much a decent mug is worth in the staff room lol and they'd make a change from the 'teacher' mugs you see. We've also got handcream for 99p and candles sets for just a couple quid [in our 'relax and unwind' range]. All are of course 3for2. Perhaps something like that might be useful, especially if you don't have much time.
It was manic at work today. So many customers saying that they are just starting their Christmas shopping! :eek: Madness lol. Plus, there was a small fire in the mobile phone unit opposite our store entrance. They managed to contain it and then put it out, meaning we didn't have to evacuate the shopping centre, but it was a bit scary seeing the smoke and the smell was awful.
Tonight, I've managed to sell my first items on Ebay. :T Trying to be MSE and have separated a few clothing items that are in a great condition but I won't wear again [from the clothes I took to the tip/recycling centre]. Didn't make a lot on them, but I made around £9 on two tops. Better than nothing, especially as they were only going to get thrown away... I just need to get down to the post office now and send them.
Not much to report in relation to Christmas. We still don't have our tree up. I still haven't done any more wrapping. It still feels quite a long way off lol. Not helped by the fact I am in work every day now until Christmas day. Shattered doesn't come close already lol.0
