Ladies I need help! I've just been given my secret santa and have a week to get it. Cost is £5 and the pointers I have are that she likes caribbean food and pizza, like comedy films and reading and catching up with friends. It doesn't have to be a serious pressie either but I am completely stumped at the moment! Have most normal shops available (no HB tho) but only really have the weekend to shop.
Any ideas you smart people? :rudolf:
I was going to suggest the Reggae Reggae recipe book too!
Or if she has a Kindle:

Noodle is that the Mama's and Papa's gingerbread blankie? I have my eye on the whole set if we ever make it to Nursery stage
Mali is beautiful! What a magical time to have a wee one
Well it has taken an obscene amount of hours, tears and sadly tantrums but the family tree papercut is done! All pictures are on my blog here;

I am so pleased with the final one that I plan to make them for both parents. I have decided to place objects in with special meanings - MIL is obsessed with Scottie dogs, FIL with fishing etc
I am going late night shopping tonight and very excited! I saw a beautiful Christmas jumper dress in Peacocks

It is a long jumper and as I'm only 5ft, will look perfect with black tights and bootsI can't really justify the £18 though

Haven't been on in a while, life just took a bit of a dive but now im back and feeling as christmassy as ever lol.
Gran is coming to stay this year and we all cant wait. Most of my gifts are done bar mum, who just wants a good pair of slippers for christmas, those boot style ones. She would steel mine if she could. I am so glad its December now, I can wear my new look rudolf reindeer hoodie in public without weird looks lol“I'm selfish, impatient and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control and at times hard to handle. But if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best.”

Need a little gift help
I have two little cousins to buy for and their Mum has mentioned they want the Lorax and Wall e on DVD - She knows our budget is £10 a head. The Lorax is £10 and Wall e is only £8 - We would ordinarily buy a tiny £2 gift to make it up to £10, but that would mean the other child would only get a DVD. We have made it quite clear we are sticking to a budget so dont want to over-spend on one as he chose a more expensive DVD (they have 4 children so would need to increase the others as well) - Any suggestions?

noodles - loving nia's room, and mali is just beautiful!
is it just me or do none of this years xmas adverts have the Xmas factor?
Last year we had the catchy littlewoods tune, and the beautiful john lewis ad, but this year it all seems to be based on how gloomy & hard work xmas is. Bah humbug to all those retail giants that just dont seem to understand that christmas is about more than getting us to spend money

I would just give them both the DVD and not add anything. Its a nice present anyway and something they want.0 -

i would buy something related for £2, maybe a wal-e sticker book or similar, and wrap together with the dvd. This way both little ones have the same ammount of presents to open! I often do this with my girls, i make sure i spend exactly the same on both of them, but this usually means youngest has a lot more presents, so this year I have made her a moshi monster hamper, lots of little gifts together, but only one present to open! I've never had any complaints from eldest as she understands the gifts she gets are usually a lot more expensive than the toys her sister gets.
