Just popped on quickly to show some more of our "work" today - OH finally managed to sit down together and sort a few things out and apart from 2 more gifts and the baking to do we are done! The actual "buying" has finished and Im so pleased because we havent needed to use Decembers wages and that even includes OH birthday present for January which I bought on ebay today for £46 inc postage - so please because they retail at £80 and this has only been used for 3 months and in perfect condition! (or so the ad says we will see when it gets here)
Presents so far - OH waited until i fell asleep on the sofa and went upstairs to wrap my gifts and I woke up after midnight to find this! (some our my gifts to OH too - and we have stockings each filled so feel very spoilt this year!)
We made these today just from some spare fabric I had lying around upstairs. Its mallows for the hot chocolate mugs we are making for family hampers which includes a christmas mug, hot choc sachet, the mallows, flake and a choc spoon.
Close up of one on their own.
Will come back on later but right now I need to stick the heating on, get a cup of tea and stretch the legs (any slight move on the laptop and the whole thing switches off - needs new battery I think!)Life is what you make it.0 -
A treat for you all... some photos of our Christmas decor.
(Am digging the tree next Sunday, and I have some light up Christmas Parcels but one of them is on my desk at work so I will photo them all together).

My Christmas Wreath
My Mr & Mrs wooden letters from our wedding decorated with a bauble garland from Matalan (bargain) some holly sprigs left over from my wreath and some wooden reindeers).

MrsDrink, I need everything you have photographed, all so gorgeous!
I am behind on everything, it was a funny old day - feeling slightly under the weather so only managed to complete DH joke tee (he is over the moon with it) Wanted to make Mince pies but never got round to it
I think I will spend the evening online Christmas present shopping - I will at least feel productive!
Chicky, I just use the blogger interface, find it very easy and straightforward. The theme was one of the preset ones HTH[/COLOR]2024 Challenges
Live in the moment more and appreciate the small things0 -

Here's PART 2 as promised - THE LIVING ROOM
Thanks for the comments and 'thanks' on last set. Really appreciate the feedback.
I've really gone to town this year. The tree was very MSE; purchased at homebase for £10 in January - should have been £100+

Hello!
I just nipped on quickly to let you know I haven't had the baby yet :-O I might be induced Tuesday but it all depends on my blood pressure, if that's ok then I wont be induced until the 12th!! It's great though because they never expected him to be in full term and to go overdue and be allowed to let him come naturally up to a certain point means they aren't concerned at all
I would like it if he would make an appearance this week though
My SPD is worse now so I *allowed* hubby to put the tree up lol (oh dear!!!) we did that yesterday, finished wrapping all our presents for everyone (except the photo frames) and put everything under the tree. We also put some fairy lights in our archway which look very pretty
Today we even ventured to our special garden centre today - we were a little bit disappointed and i ended up making a complaint but it was nice to get out and get involved in christmassy celebrations compared to being stuck at home
I will try to keep you all updated
hope you are all well xxEverything is always better after a cup of tea0
