Hi elves!!
Christmas has just got a bit more exciting, DH and i found out the other night that Im pregnant!!!! It was all very dramatic, woke up at 4am yesterday with a very sore back and tummy, no surface or position eased the pain, so DH decided to take me up to hospital. The DR examined me and took a urine sample, he came back in to the room with a smirk and said ''You are pregnant, congratulations.'' Look on DHs face was priceless! Shocked but happy. So only 6 or 8 weeks gone, going to my own Doc on Tuesday to refer me to the antenatal department, maternity ward is right up the hill from usso hopefully get a scan before Christmas but most likely in New Year! Vomited after drinking water last night and again this morning, so hoping that eases off. Not planning to tell everyone until we get a scan but i am bursting with excitement!!!!!
Huge congrats! what a xmas pressie!Totally debt free wohooo 2014

Its officially christmas in work now too this morning - got all our wee decs up around our desks as manager agreed it was about time (we are the last team in our dept and Ive had the stuff sitting in cabinets for a month!) looks lovely and festive and feel in a much better mood
Spoke to doctors yesterday and theyve put me on antibiotics for my ear ache which has gone on just over 2 and a half weeks nowHopefully these will kick in soon enough though!
Babysitting my niece and nephew tonight and cant wait to talk about "christmas" with them, theyre about the right age level for my christmas excitment, they are the only ones who understand but then again they are only 4 and 2 lol! :rotfl:
Cant wait to see all these trees and decs going up over the weekend! Hope you all have a good day and try and catch up laterLife is what you make it.0 -
I feel your pain! I had to have a root canal two weeks ago as my tooth had been keeping me up at night
Was expensive but worth it as tooth pain is one of the worst!
And I was also up for most of the night with a tummy ache, suspected gall bladder troubleFirst attack for about a year, hope it doesn't mean more are to come.
I'm the same, don't worry!
Right girls, I need your help! I've decided I need a Christmas jumper :j Anyone know where to get one, preferably less than £20?
I've seen a few, like these from boohoo.com and New look but they are sold out or not my sizeThis is nice but is £40
My favourite so far is this from Next but don't want to sign up to their account to get one, and it's mens. Will go and get one from a store if I can't find anything else.
Oooo just seen this, but would prefer brighter colours!
Fussy aren't I? :rotfl: It's a toss up at the moment between the Next and New Look ones but I'm open to suggestions, anyone seen anything?
Was very productive last night with my decorations, hoping to finish the cupcakes this evening.
Christmas shopping is going OK too, got a whole lot of online stuff arriving in the next few days. For those we haven't bought, we at least know what we're getting so I feel in control
Will enjoy it while it lasts :rotfl::rotfl:

But the Christmas things you do
All year through0 -
Congrats MaggieMcQ
Not been on for a while as I've been poorly - first off an infected wisdom tooth and general toothache and then some fainting episodes and migraines.
I've still been reading along thoughMy Christmas spirit has really well and truly gone, I don't even want to put the tree up (last year I put mine up on 1st November lol)
I've done most of the shopping just need a couple of treats and foody bits.
I am very much looking forward to the time off work and the time to spend with my family
Next Saturday we are doing a Christmas bring and buy in memory of my Dad and to raise funds for the air ambulance, I'm looking forward to that
I'm hoping during advent that my Christmas cheer comes back!0 -

Lots of xmas jumpers in Primark and Peacocks. Around £16. I didn't have a good look so can't really comment on their suitability0 -
Morning elfies
Still no further forward with the Christmas shopping, but now as we have dried out a bit after the floods I have decided that tomorrow is the day to get everything but my DH's done.
The elf is going to arrive tomorrow, so it may prove difficult getting the kids out of the door early.
Once everyone else is done will concentrate on my DH's through December.
Festive cheer to everyone x0 -
