Can't believe I've only just ventured into this thread and found people as nuts about Christmas as I am
I love it!, can't wait till Saturday so I can put up the tree! Unfortunately my OH doesn't share my love but he puts up with meI'm currently sitting on our bed making these, not sure if he'll put up with all the fake snow that's getting in to the bed! He just gave me one of those 'you're so strange' looks, maybe I'll get away with it!!
I love the trees you've posted so far, as Caitlyn22 said, they are all like brides! Or princesses! All beautiful :T
Here are the decorations I've made so far this year

And I made a wreath on Tuesday with my mum, no pic yet thoughI'll try and get one to show you all.
I've read back a few pages but I know tomorrow at work I will be reading more :rotfl:
:xmastree:
They are beautiful. It makes me want to get crafty - I'll see if I can get my DS to help me (he's probably better at making things look nice and he's 3!)Trying to save up for a deposit for a mortgage....could be a while!!
Comping since 15/06/2014 - thanks to all those who post the competitions ❤️😀0 -

Aldi had some last week as part of their 'one off' promotions (and tissues and kitchen roll), might still have some... worth a try.
Wilkinsons had tissues and kitchen roll but didn't look for loo rolls.0 -

Been up most of the night with tooth ache. Quite frankly ive had about enough of teeth and would prefer some false ones but at 25, My dentist has refused this!! So suffer in silents for me.
So since 3:50 this morning ive managed to make tonights din dins, more christmas wrapping, Write some extra cards for people i forgot & Get 3 loads of ironing done, Make OH some lunch for work and got him a coffee ready before his alarm went off!!
I was hoping to be more ready for christmas, But what with one thing or another, I'm slowly falling behind - Now im worrying myself silly that im never going to catch up at this rate. Even though ive been offered help from my OH - I never like other people finishing something ive started. In my eyes its never the finish you expect. (Am i the only one?)
Bit of a busy day today. Loads of posting for me, As i have managed to sell a good amount of "clutter" on E*ay.
Anyways.....Hope everyone has a good day. Well wishes for everyone that needs them - And stay safe everyone!!
It must be something in the weather! Lost the crown/filling from a tooth last night, luckily i had root canal so no nerves left to cause pain, but it sharp & annoying & kept me awake lol! Hate hate hate dentists, but really cant put it off too long incase it gets bad over xmas! It's not about getting what you want, It's about wanting what you get.0 -

I feel your pain! I had to have a root canal two weeks ago as my tooth had been keeping me up at nightWas expensive but worth it as tooth pain is one of the worst!
And I was also up for most of the night with a tummy ache, suspected gall bladder troubleFirst attack for about a year, hope it doesn't mean more are to come.

I'm the same, don't worry!
Right girls, I need your help! I've decided I need a Christmas jumper :j Anyone know where to get one, preferably less than £20?
I've seen a few, like these from boohoo.com and New look but they are sold out or not my sizeThis is nice but is £40
My favourite so far is this from Next but don't want to sign up to their account to get one, and it's mens. Will go and get one from a store if I can't find anything else.
Oooo just seen this, but would prefer brighter colours!
Fussy aren't I? :rotfl: It's a toss up at the moment between the Next and New Look ones but I'm open to suggestions, anyone seen anything?
Was very productive last night with my decorations, hoping to finish the cupcakes this evening.
Christmas shopping is going OK too, got a whole lot of online stuff arriving in the next few days. For those we haven't bought, we at least know what we're getting so I feel in control
Will enjoy it while it lasts :rotfl::rotfl:Cross Stitch Cafe Challenger No. 26 :hello:XStitch to do list:-- Birth Sampler -- Christmas Angel -- Mum's Xmas Stitch -- Christmas decs 3 & 4 -- Xmas Bird ---- Snowflake Sonata -- Be Jolly -- JE Unicorn -- Start HAED!!! --0 -
I put my christmas tree up yesterday. I then uploaded the picture to facebook. The amount of negative comments I received was ridiculous. Baring in mind I'm due on boxing day, I put up my christmas tree while I could still do it with ease. GRR!!
I was the same last year-we did everything early (as i was due close to xmas day). I hope all goes well with the birth, and you have a lovely xmasmake sure you take it easy! x

Hi elves!!
Christmas has just got a bit more exciting, DH and i found out the other night that Im pregnant!!!! It was all very dramatic, woke up at 4am yesterday with a very sore back and tummy, no surface or position eased the pain, so DH decided to take me up to hospital. The DR examined me and took a urine sample, he came back in to the room with a smirk and said ''You are pregnant, congratulations.'' Look on DHs face was priceless! Shocked but happy. So only 6 or 8 weeks gone, going to my own Doc on Tuesday to refer me to the antenatal department, maternity ward is right up the hill from usso hopefully get a scan before Christmas but most likely in New Year! Vomited after drinking water last night and again this morning, so hoping that eases off. Not planning to tell everyone until we get a scan but i am bursting with excitement!!!!!
