thanks, there are so many different products and it is only the one nail that has been like that for ages noweven when it grows from the base the crack is still there:(

Since 2007 I've had this problem with one nail. The nail bed is damaged and I can see the line of weakness right down to the cuticle. It's sooooo annoying! I've tried the strengtheners etc but nothing works. Even glued a tea bag to it a few times (something I saw on Youtube) - but still it breaks. If you find a solution, please let me know!

Eagerly using Next hand cream - can't wait for it to finish! It's ok, but nothing special. I don't like these types of gifts, I'd rather have one £10 luxury brand hand cream than some pants gift set from Next or M&S - but it looks more if you get 3 or 4 things which is why people buy them I guess.

Nearly UU favourite perfume. Going to be good and use others before restocking - hopefull will have enough Boots points by then!

Sorry to be an enabler but I remember someone on this thread recently said they absolutely loved a Clarins lipstick in Rose Berry but that it had been discontinued -

I've just found it on sale on Salonskincare for £9.15. I hope this helps someone!

I'm in again this month. One UU, Elemis Tri Enzyme Gel Mask it was OK but I think I prefer Alpha H as it's more effective. Now using up the Elemis papaya skin peel which I abandoned part used, actually I think that's probably better than the Tri Enzyme.

have a tea break on yet another wet day:(desperate to get into the garden,my beans in the greenhouse look like they have escaped from Jack and....!!!

have been over to the dark side(beauty box thread!) and tempted by thoughts of SSB through quidco(annoyed cos did not do before)BUT when I go through the link it shows I still have a 3 month subscription even tho I have had all 3 boxes I paid for!!!it does say the 3 month sub is a one off so can't see them taking anymore money off me,was hoping to use quidco and get cashback but not sure what to do now(yes I do know I should not do anything and simply not buy:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:)
been making flower arrangements to sell tomorrow(hopefully) at church coffee morning along with plants which I left outside and are now soggy plus gift bags of toiletries from hotels. Was disapointed with hotel as only gave us soap.shampoo and shower gel so future gift sets will be without body lotion and therefore I will have to sell them for less even tho they will take the same effort to make them up:(they also did not give us chocies in the room or at dinner with coffee or a bottle of wine which DH has got each time he goes to a different hotel of same brand:(
just remembered DH is supposed to be out tonight at a workmates birthday meal but think he has forgotten and I have got us some steak....should I remind him?

This weather is depressing me ladies.

I had off today from work, and basically exhausted as not only am I exhausted from work but also food poisoning too.

So I'm going to treat myself to a nice bath and see what UU's I have.

I'm really itching to buy some lipsticks, altho I know I shouldn't sigh. it's so hard to be good.

any one tried jessica special basecoats for problem nails?they have so many and not sure which is the right one for me and as they are so expensive don,t want to get the wrong one.I have a split on one nail from top to bottom that is always there and catches on things at the top and I have to keep it very short so don't often get chance to paint them :(I have used LD emery board things on them which help a bit.there are 12 different Jessica basecoats:eek::eek::eek: and some cost £18:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

had a shock at the spa hotle as they had a very high magnifying mirror and I saw that on both eyes I have an eyelash that is growing right on the inner corners!!!never knew that before and thought they were loose ones at first...any one else hot them or am I strange?

I don't know how you would get this here in the uk as it's a small niche company in seattle, but julep's nail therapy saved my nails. If I can get a friend to post it to me here, I'll get you one too

    Another UU for me.

    4. No7 Protect and Perfect Intense night cream. I wouldn't buy this again. It's a great moisturiser for dry skin, but I have found something that suits my skin better.

Hi everyone! Have a few UU to report from the weekend:

    Tresemme 24 Hour Body Shampoo
    Tresemme 24 Hour Body conditioner
    Colgate Max White Toothpaste
    Listerine Total Care Sensitive mouthwash

    And a couple of TA:

Random gel that I never used in the years that i've had it
    Old SPF cream that's expired

Oh and 4 things sold on ebay so that's a total of 10 outs this weekend! Been quite busy, we managed to find a flat for when I start my new job. Have a yearning to sell most of my makeup and streamline my collection. I haven't bought makeup since 1 December last year so I'm getting somewhere!
