had a shock at the spa hotle as they had a very high magnifying mirror and I saw that on both eyes I have an eyelash that is growing right on the inner corners!!!never knew that before and thought they were loose ones at first...any one else hot them or am I strange?0 -
I've had a Decleor day
I used the Clay and Herbal Mask (first go - I like it), followed by Decleor Hydra Floral mask (from a beauty box) and then the rose oil.
I'm trying to use face masks twice a week...
The rose oil is lovely though I think that I prefer the neroli oil overall. (It might be that my skin was in worse condition when I used the neroli so I saw more of an improvement though?) The reason I bought the rose version was that it was really, really reduced for a huge bottle, so I'm relieved that I like it :rotfl:
Pink Rose breakthrough moment - I opened the mascara in my Dior holiday palette! I used all of the eyeshadows and the gel eyeliner as well. I can imagine some of this palette drying up so I must enjoy it whilst it's useable. (There is also a rose balm and two lipgloss colours that I think will dry out).
I had a Decleor day that day too!sorry miles behind with this thread. Intrigued to know your thoughts on the rose oil Willowbee - I used a bit of a small sample bottle (which I've had for nearly 4 years) but didn't notice any difference and it didn't smell of roses. Is that due to the age of the product or is it always like that?
Two INs to declare I'm afraid - two 500ml bottles of Pantene (one smooth & sleek, one repair and protect). Forgot I had a £1 off voucher to use by the end of May and there was a 2 bottles for £6 deal at Tesco so got both for a fiver. I don't have that much shampoo though so not that bothered by it.
And an UU:
A Lush Butterball from Sept 2011. Usually really like this one but I think it had gone bad, the buttery bits had gone hard and brown and the water just had a sheen to it which didn't smell of much. Shame."Why, this is hell, nor am I out of it."0 -
I've added a couple of things to my list of items I'm working on UU, as I missed them off earlier.
UU last Garnier Body sachet.
Looks like everyone is doing well so far this month.0 -

What funny timing! :rotfl:
I don't think that the oil smells that much of rose. It smells more herby or 'green' to me. Here are the ingredients:
Essential Oils of Roman Camomile, N!roli, Damask Rose, Petit Grain and Blackcurrant Seed Oil.
I think that I can smell the petit grain most (a kind of fresh but bitter orange smell - it's a base scent for most colognes). Hopefully that means that your oil is as it's meant to beIt sinks in nice and quickly and leaves my skin feeling nourished and plump. My skin is quite balanced at the moment (unusual!) so it's harder to tell if a product is doing good things. It's definitely not bad for my skin at least :rotfl:I can report back once I've used it for a month
Has anyone else tried the Balance Me cleanser? I have a love/hate relationship with it! :rotfl: The oatmeal bits feel too scratchy even though I'm being careful yet my skin is looking happy and healthy at the mo. Weird! It smells lovely though0 -

Altering my signature just now, I've realised I've hit my first 100 UU :j :j:j and oddly reached 50 IN at the same time so I've UU 2 items for every 1 bought, not bad but I think I can do better!
I'm quite pleased with the progress in four months since the beginning of the year when I started the challenge. Its a good incentive to see it written down to keep up the momentum. Will continue to try and reduce items from the original stash now.
Feel I should treat myself but don't want to be counter productive! Maybe some nice makeup which I don't include in my stash - to be honest I've still been applying the same principles to this as I have to the stash and its not as out of control as the rest of it was in any case, plus UU are soo long winded, I don't think I've the patience! Think I'm more aware of what my HG products are on makeup too, whereas I've lots of blank categories toiletries wise at the moment - looking forward to filling those with some really nice products eventually.
Congratulations on reaching the magic 100:j
What about a treat of "doing something", rather than buying an item(s), money in pot for a facial, manicure, lunch with friend, something that you don't get to do very often sort of thing? I was saving my use up money and npi money for a facial, but ended up raiding it to buy shrubs, clematis and flowers for my garden, it makes me happy looking at them, and even hanging out the washing is not such a chore as it is getting so nice out there.:DThe best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. Hey!
OMG how fast has this thread been going the last few days??? It's gonna take me ages to get caught up with all the goss :rotfl:
I was a bit naughty yesterday when I went in to Boots
I needed some 'feminine products' (which were on offer so got two lots)and ended up buying three Charles Worthington Conditioners, and a foundation too
. So here are my excuses: :rotfl:
The conditoner I have just started using is Loreal Elvive and its far too heavy for my hair, and the Charles Worthington conditioner was still on the 3 for £10 so had to buy (love the stuff!). I got three different ones to see which was is best. I'll maybe try watering the Elvive stuff down (its a very big bottle!)or only use it now and again.
Remember the BarryM foundation I found in me undies draw? Well it's horrid. I remember when it was in the pots it was really really good. (or maybe my skin changed). The Advantage Machine thingy had a 200points voucher for when you buy any revlon product. I usually like revlon colourstay stuff the most, then saw a different foundation that they had on offer, so got the foundation for £7.99 instead of £12.99 in the revlon range.
Will continue to use the barrym one for days when I'm just in the house or am not going anywhere special.May Grocery Challenge : 64.81 so far

Hope you had a great time. Beauticians I went to for long time used Jessica products, as did nearest dept store. Can't find bottle atm, but pretty sure they used Reward, in just the same way they say to use nail envy. I had thought when my nail envy finished I might try Reward again, but have no idea what it costs now. I thought it was really good, as is the Phenomen Oil, which was also soothing on excema on my hands too. HTH:) Have you tried nail glue/superglue on the nail split. The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)0 -
Evilsquid - Hope the eye infection clears up quickly. The perils of trying to UU older products eh.Woo

Thanks for the advice re: milia for the unclogging scrub, will give it a go
Can someone enlighten me at what a UU is?
I have a hoard of nail varnishes and eyeshadows that I need to get through. Have banned myself buying any more for about the last 3-4 years and still they remain!0
