I have another UU this morning.

Evolve Protein Build Conditioner 7ml - Probably WNBA it was nice enough but prefer, Colour Care shampoos and conditioners.

This is one of the items on the list I posted yesterday.

    Ammonite UU = Used Up.

happytorty have you tried using the elvive before shampooing? Could be a way to use it up, or use it for shaving.
I had my own !!!!!!-foundation moment at the weekend going through my sister's stash with her. We found some generic maybelline, rimmel etc foundations she'd bought a few years ago. They were all in the lightest available shade but I put one on and it was so ridiculously orange, I had the worst tide mark ever and could not stop laughing. Can't believe how many of us went to school like that when we were 13 :rotfl:

Got some Burt's Bees INs from a grab bag + used the last Glossy Box code:
Milk and honey body lotion (full size)
Honey and orange wax lotion (full size)
Exfoliating body wash with royal jelly and jojoba beads x2 (88.7ml)
Soap bark and chamomile deep cleansing cream (11g)
    Hand salve in a tin
    Watermelon lip shimmer
    Rhubarb lip shimmer
    Tin and little nail file
    Beeswax lip balm stick
Soap bark & chamomile deep cleansing cream
Lip balm & hand salve set - will be a stocking filler

Just got my Amarya :j Is mine late? Hmm, well the one item I have been dying to try but the shade is just incredibly wrong for my colouring.

My OH's sister likes all sorts of toiletries, gift sets and is getting into natural beauty (but being at uni can't afford much and she's just had a house fire) so I'm thinking about suggesting we get her a 1 year Amarya subscription for her 21st. I know it's £150 but OH is very generous with gifts for family. What do you think of it for a present?
Living cheap in central London :rotfl:

I got it wrong last night, it was Jessica Critical Care they used on me, and then Reward when the nails improved. Sorry. I think the moral is, not to trust my brain when I really should be sleeping!

thanks, there are so many different products and it is only the one nail that has been like that for ages noweven when it grows from the base the crack is still there:(just looked at some sally hanson on half price perfumes and got sucked into other freebies and stuff but then could not find the page i was on so gave up,think I will wait till I go to the spa at the end of May and get advice as this stuff is not cheap.went to Tesco with Dh and ended up paying £20 for some nail fungal stuff for him...he has had problems for years and was on tablets from the doc which helped but now its coming back and you can only take the pills for so long.
new year resolution(ok a bit late!) is to only buy things that will work for problems even if i have to save up to buy them as false economy to buy the cheaper option if it does not work.

Hope you had a great time. Beauticians I went to for long time used Jessica products, as did nearest dept store. Can't find bottle atm, but pretty sure they used Reward, in just the same way they say to use nail envy. I had thought when my nail envy finished I might try Reward again, but have no idea what it costs now. I thought it was really good, as is the Phenomen Oil, which was also soothing on excema on my hands too. HTH:) Have you tried nail glue/superglue on the nail split.
just bought the life jacket and phenomen oil from feelunique through quidco,5% with free post and I think it was 15% off rrp so not too bad....£22ish for the two(- the 5%)

Some of the fungal creams are very good, in addition applying a bit of Tea Tree Oil after every shower/bath helped me, but it took a while before it stopped being painful, even after the fungus had cleared. My OH had a split nail like that for a long time, I got him to file it short and put a bit of superglue on the nail tip from time to time, but he would not put cream on or anything (not new man), however, it eventually got better of it's own accord. I think I would just keep any clear polish or strengthener on it if you are not wearing polish, unti you go to the Spa. Have a good day, sunny here, rain due later:eek:

Sounds good, I must get onto Quidco/TC.

Having a cuppa and trying not to buy any Emma Hardie from Q Beauty, I want to try it, but must use some stuff up first, wondering why Ali Young is wearing a short blonde wig! presumably there was a wig presentation about the time this was recorded.

We did used to have Sephora in the UK, but I don't think it was a success. I remember the store in my town was always empty mainly because it was always messy, but full of expensive products.

i think years ago we weren't ready for it but i bet if they came back they'd be so popular. especially if we get the value sets america has! although, the US and french stores had assistants that understood customer service and who actually did the "rubbish" jobs of keep the store tidy and put things back where they should be. judging by the state of some of the british high street shops, i doubt they'll have the same level of service!

Evilsquid - Hope the eye infection clears up quickly. The perils of trying to UU older products eh.

i know! i'll be a lot more careful with my eye products from now on! thankfully for this, the "if you get an infection, chuck anything used on it" rule might give me 2 more UU, I've been trying to UU a dior eyeliner of dubious age and a dior mascara mini thats 2 years old so I'm just using them on it and i'll bin them when it goes. i still cant bear going out without eyeliner and mascara even with an infection :rotfl:

Hopefully my Amarya box will come this afternoon and will be waiting for me when I get home from work.

Until I get my Amarya Box ins, my Ins and outs will be even. I will have to work hard to get more UU or no treat for me next month.

Adelight - I think an Amarya Box subscription wuld be a great gift.
