Steamcream, 75g - WNBA. Just a tad over rated and gave me that reaction on my tummy and waist! I am so glad i never put it on my face! The tin is cute though :)
St Ives Invigorating Apricot Scrub, 30ml - WBA, i have always liked St Ives and i like the effect scrubs have on my face :)

Aaargghh - have just realised that I haven't listed my Ultrasun INs - we have no suncream left at home so these were an essential for the coming Summer - if we can believe that Summer is coming! I bought this for 2 reasons:

    1. We are off to France this Summer so hopefully the weather will be good and we will need it!
    2. My DDs go to holiday club for the first 3 weeks of the Summer and I have been wanting to try out a suncream that you only need apply once. Last year they had to remember to keep putting suncream on so this will hopefully give me peace of mind that they won't get burnt.

    So 5 INs:
    Ultrasun
    SPF30 face 25ml
    Ultralip
    SPF20 sports 500ml
    Aftersun 125ml
    30SPF family formula 100ml

I know that this brand sometimes appears in TKM**X but I have yet to see it (admittedly I don't go in very often) so decided to buy it last weekend when it was a TSV. I did wonder whether to add this to my stash list or not as suncream is a necessity rather than a 'treat' but decided I would in the end.

I wouldn't coat this as an IN either. I also got this TSV for our cruise in August although I should use the facial one before then if we get some sun.

The same day of the TSV I saw some Ultrasun in TKMaxx. Wasn't as good value as the kit though - think they were duos of the 20SPF.

Tiny UU. A Sanex shower gel sample, 8 ml. WIB? No. This is quite similar to the Aldi Lacura Hydro Urea shower gel that got demoted to hand wash. It''s a clear gel wash and that's it.
It makes a virtue of having few ingredients, but frankly I'd rather something a bit more interesting. Didn't lather up particularly well and halfway through I topped it up with some OS (the limited edition Almond and Black Cherry) as I do love my bubbles.
Clinique Moisture Surge is spluttering, do you remember the rush for this as a freebie on (I think) Marie Claire last year when they had about 9 different items? It's lasted really well and performed well too.

My oldest items for sure are perfume minis, all still sealed and protected from light - c. 15-18 years old. Perfectly usable.
I may have lipsticks that are even older (up to 20, I should chuck them, shouldn't I?!) but I bought the same Rimmel shades for some years so I'm not sure. That was in the days when I wore lipstick every day - I don't do that now.
Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.

I personally would class suncream as an in as its one of those things that doesnt get used all the time, so you forget you have it, then buy more and before you know it, you have ten half empty bottles in the back of the cupboard.......the first lot might be neccessary but the next twenty wont haha!

Just popping in quickly before we go to the cinema, have tried my new benefit blusher, and I think I did a fantastic job. It looks great and I look better with it than without it I think. The colour really suits me, I'm really pleased. I must say I've only purchased a couple of makeup items since joining this thread and they are probably the best makeup purchases I've made in a good few years.

what about using coconut oil (food quality) as face & body moisturiser (& cooking with it as well)? Forgot something - as prehair wash super conditioner

Local ethnic shops selling this for £2.50 a pot.

I rate the £1 shops for their non-allergic shower gels (Sannex) too.

Just wanted to throw my 2ps worth in here. If there is something that doesn't suit your or breaks you out in spots why not sell it on eBay instead of throwing it?

I've done this a lot, just state it's been opened and how much has been used, you might not get the whole amount back but if you can recover 50% of the cost that could go towards new purchases ;)

I'm on the hunt for a new moisturiser, have been using Clinique moisture surge but my face is covered in Millia now :( and at £30 a pot, it's not very MSE. Any good suggestions?

What skin type are you? I have norrmal/combination skin and find that if I use a cream that's too rich I get milia. I like Elemis Pro Collagen Marine Cream and LE Skin Repair in Normal/Combination. The LE one is cheaper. I do use Elemis during the day though for it's anti-aging benefits.

    Hi Ammonite

Normally I would repurpose something or give it away, it's just unfortunate in this case that the serum is only ok for three months. I've had it for longer than that - I kept using it in the hope that it would be different...You have to add the active ingredient to it (it comes as a powder). It's a really odd thing!

I hope everyone is having a happy Sunday! :)

    I've had a Decleor day :D

I used the Clay and Herbal Mask (first go - I like it :)), followed by Decleor Hydra Floral mask (from a beauty box) and then the rose oil. :D I'm trying to use face masks twice a week...

The rose oil is lovely though I think that I prefer the neroli oil overall. (It might be that my skin was in worse condition when I used the neroli so I saw more of an improvement though?) The reason I bought the rose version was that it was really, really reduced for a huge bottle, so I'm relieved that I like it :rotfl:

Pink Rose breakthrough moment - I opened the mascara in my Dior holiday palette! I used all of the eyeshadows and the gel eyeliner as well. I can imagine some of this palette drying up so I must enjoy it whilst it's useable. (There is also a rose balm and two lipgloss colours that I think will dry out).
