UKCPS Car Parking Solutions Letter - Please Help

Strictly speaking, The Equality Act 2010 doesn't say that able-bodied drivers can't also use disabled parking bays. And, in private car parks, they are nothing more than parking spaces with a picture of a stick man in a wheelchair. However, it's still a nice idea not to use the last one available, though. The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.0

No need to be worried.
For starters Chummy was lying about it being a 'fine' - but PPCs routinely lie so that's not unexpected. It is technically an invoice for a charge in respect fo breaching a contract. However, under contract law, a company or individual can only pursue you for an amount equalling the actual financial losses incurred as a result of the breach. As it was a free car park, then their losses are zero, and they cannot pursue you for any more than this.
In summary, you legally owe them £0.
Ignore them, do not contact them in any way. Ignore all the scary letters they will send threatening you with court action, bailiffs, CCJs. etc. Its all - legally speaking - absolute tosh.Je Suis Cecil.0 -

I don't want to appear rude or mean, but have you read any of the above posts?0 -
yes i have now but didn,t no were we stood because with us leaving the site thanks.0

Yes, just ignore the rubbish. But what I would do, if you are a regular in that place, is to go in all the shops, show them the ticket, and tell them that thanks to the Car Park Cowboy you will be going elsewhere in future.
You see, these people are utterly parasitic, they don't care if shops lose trade so long as they pull in their money. Well, they won't from you, I trust, and tell all your friends and family- NEVER pay a private parking ticket!0 -
thank you i was thinking of going in the shops n telling them n i,ve told all my family n freinds so they are all in the no thank for the information i am not so worried anymore thanks again.0

To be honest you'd be wasting your breath as most of the workers couldn't care less if they work for a national outlet. It's more the small independant shop owners this would make a difference to.0 -
Well, the manager might care. The staff won't they will probably have been conned into thinking it's legit. If he doesn't, write to head office.0
